I m thinking if I should lower front and back to the same height.

I'm also deciding if I should lower on links or just adjust the stock suspension.

That makes two of us losing the front recently

Hope the body didn't take it too hard. Is it just the usual scraped plastics and bent parts or is the damage on the bike more serious?

oh im ok, just slid down the track and got up after. my ass is kinda bruised but other than that i'm golden *knocks on wood*. bike is pretty good too, frame slider saved everything. just need to replace a bracket for the rear set. the guy behind me got owned though. handlebars snapped off, radiator leaking, fairings are all fucked.

the track is 7 right and 2 left, so the left side of the tire doesn't heat up enough. apparently everyone eats shit there so it made me feel a little better. hopefully it'll be sunny next sat for the ridge motorsports park

edit: tegz what happened?!

So guys,

Dilemma here

Looking at an 07 gsxr750 vs a 2011 gsxr 600

One 5k on it 2011 is new..
Ive been trying to see the differences but i cant seem to find major differences

Im hoping to get a new bike this week.

The big problem is

2011 is 6k+taxes more than the 07?

Can someone tell me the differences,
And if the 2011 is worth the 6k+

thx

The owner of the company hosting the track day had a rule. The consensus was, anyone who bailed on the first two warm up laps, you were to get a pixie barbie taped to your bike the rest of the day

Charlie escaped the dreaded Barbie cause his bike was out of commission from the snapped rear set, or else I would have loved to take moar photos of le said barbie lmao!

how much is each one? there's actually some pretty big differences between the two. the 2011 has a shorter wheel base, handles better, MUCH better brakes, and is 30 pounds lighter (it'll be very noticeable). Probably not worth the extra 6k especially since it's your first bike but it's supposed to be the best 600 out right now.

the bikes have been pretty almost the same since 06-07, with the biggest changes in the 2012 model...ie BPF, brembo brakes....

my money would be on the 07 750cc hands down...

Well technically wouldn't be my first bike hah but my second But def gonna be my new pride and joy haha.
Uhh well the 2011 is roughly 11-12 after taxes,
The 07 my friend is leaving the country and is offering it to me for 55 I definitely feel the weight difference when I sat on the 2011/2012
Other than that they did talk about the brakes.

So I should jump on this 07 huh.
