Hahaha. I know eh? Vancouver to Calgary costs $95 for the taxes and fees. That's only 30 minutes air flight.
Bellingham to Vegas costs only $40 for the taxes and fees...and that's like almost 2 hours long.
I dont think it is about the distance though...but yeah you are right...canadian taxes (not airlines) are quite expensive.

Does anyone know any good deals to Los Angelas, CA on Labour Day(Aug 28-31) weekend?
I am new at this vacation package shopping thing. I tried the Allegiant website but there aren't any direct flights to LA. Any other websites I should use?
Thanks.

Try this thread - Click!
I believe Air Canada currently has a sale to Los Angeles so you can also try them. Keep your options open because if you try flying out of Seattle, there's a good chance you can score yourself a cheap seat there and back on Virgin America or even Southwest Airlines. Good luck!

ALLEGIANT is offering $58 dollar right now for Bellingham to San Francisco.
You need to depart on August 31, September 1 or 8 and should arrive either on September 5, 8 or 12.
One person is $138(includes taxes and fees)
Now someone needs to buy me Starbucks Mint Frappucino so I will keep posting on this thread. Sooo hot right now and I am craving starbucks mint frappucino.
