I love this show.. but i never seem to be at home when it is on !! i always catch the tail end...lol !!!
I went to this chinese restaurant and saw a king crab.. it looked larger in real life than on TV ! haha

I remember when seeing Coast Guards on the show being deployed was a rare occasion - it made them extra special to see. The first time they showed their perspective on Deadliest Catch, it really caught my attention.
The mood they set, trying to find people and save them, showing the weather they battled, it made for really good TV.

Deadliest Catch is back with it's sixth season.  Only on episode two and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.
...well, as much as I can knowing what's going to be happening near the end of the series. 
There's a very well written bit on Mike Rowe's personal page about Captain Phil and his memories with him. I suggest you all take a few minutes to read it. Phil was one of my favourite Captains on the show (Jonathan and Sig being the other two) and it's kinda depressing watching what you know is his last few episodes on this show. http://www.mikeroweworks.com/2010/02/captain-phil/ | |

The first 2 episodes this season have been good so far. Looks like they're showing alot of Phil because of what happens to him. It'll be hard next season when there's no phil. He was my favourite.

I love this show, I think they did a good job with Phils death.
Hopefully Jake will eventually turn his life around, I seen earlier this year he had a run in with the police in Seattle well either drunk/high so he isn't there yet. Hopefully he doesn't use his dads death as an excuse to get loaded for to long.
