I would not recommend a Mini. I had a 03 Cooper S and it was not a great car

If you really want a Mini, you should talk to a place called Transportaction in Richmond. They will be able to get the best deal for you

What was wrong with my Mini?
1) Electrical- the cooler fan for the power steering is is on the same circuit as the radiator fan. you get a rock in the cooler fan then it blows the fuse for the radiator and then the engine overheats
2) Seats upholstery- the bottom of the seat cracked the vinyl upholstery 2 times
3) Steering Rack was replaced
4) Power Steering Pump Replaced after it drained the battery
5) Steering Wheel went sticky. I accept a steering wheel will go shiny, but not sticky. It was replaced

Warranty service from Mini Yaletown is very good. But the car....

You do not have to go to the dealer to buy a new car. You can go to a leasing company to buy one. Transportaction is a leasing company.

If you are going to buy a 06 used Mini from a dealer, maybe you should look at dealers out of town, like in Victoria. You have to decide what options you want and how many km, how much warranty, and the price. All car salesman are there for one thing. To make the most money possible. Do not get attached to a car you find. Remember there more cars around. Only make a deal if it feels good.
