Sushi Town
Food: 7.25/10
Service: 1/10, awful. I know not to expect much from this place but this is the worst customer service I've ever had from them, she had some major attitude.

Menya Ramen on Broadway: Pretty good. Service was hundreds of levels better than Kintaro but Kintaro ramen is still king. Waitresses there are actually comprehensible and they can actually understand what you want when you order.
8/10

Green Leaf BBT 9/10. Satisfying.
Yums. Green tea icecream with red bean.
Also had Strawberry Mango Slush w/ half pearls and half coconut jelly.
And if anyone has to ask, yes, that is in fact my hand holding the cup.

Octopus' Garden - 9/10
We went for lunch and tried their Seafood Ramen with gyoza and a "Sushi Pocket," kinda of like a cone, but folded flat.

Cedar Cottage Neighbourhood Pub http://www.yelp.ca/biz/cedar-cottage...-pub-vancouver
7.5/10
Decent neighbourhood pub to watch the Canucks game, (note, crowd gets really rowdy during games, even regular season!) food is average, beer selection is weak. Neat little place as it's underground though.

BT Cafe
Asked for the Baked Chicken and Pork chop with half tomato and half cream sauce. So good.
9/10
It was too much food and had to pack some home...and what was packed was mostly meat, lol.

Donair Affair
9/10 good as usual,
anybody else find that the owner cheaps you out sometimes? My friend asked for two super lambs and he got noticeably less onions and lamb slices in the second.

Fairwood in HK
For less than $4 ($28HKD), I got breakfast - scrambled eggs, minute steak, toast, noodles, drink.
Food 10/10, probably kill me though if I have it everyday.
Serive 10/10, take out packed and served in less than 1 minute.

The One Restaurant - 7/10. Beef curry with rice + taro milk tea. Paid $16 with tax + tips, kinda overpriced for HK cafe type food. I've had better elsewhere.

Fundamentally different approaches to Chinese food.

Speaking of that...
Han Woo Ri - 9/10
Went there with 6 others so 7 total. Ordered BBQ Combo C and everyone ended paying $24 with tax tip. Only downer was we sat next to a group of kids who were being kids the entire time.

Pork Belly Beer House on Bidwell and Robson: 9/10 [Pics from other sites]
Pros:
-all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ Bacon, kimchi, veggies/salads, soup, rice, etc. (all superb)
-amazing miso sauce
-bottomless soda
-excellent service. very friendly servers
-as authentic as a korean place gets
-$15 per head = a steal
Cons:
-pretty small place
-probably one of the greasiest things I've ever ever eaten. Not for the feint of heart! You'll either walk away feeling like a champ, or feeling like garbage. Haha
