From taking forever to get our food to us, to giving us less then what we order. IF WE ASK FOR 10 ROLLS WE WANT 10 ROLLS NOT 7! lol
really?...you need to venture out more. That place rates as a ---negative 5--- for me. Food is worst then a grade 10s home ec cooking.

I would take your word over mine any day haha, but as i stated before, i do not go out much. Plus i dont have many asian friends, (me not being one myself) so we dont know where to eat really, they are fine with sui sha ya, so that's usually the place we end up going =/

^ this is quite true lol

ps : recommend any good all-u-can-eat sushi places ? that's kinda what we're into. Keeping in mind we live in burnaby, pretty close to lougheed. So travelling all the way to richmond for the best place or going downtown for dinner is not so much in our agendas =/

Sushi Garden on lougheed should be right up your alley.

I'd say Kingsway Sushi on Kingsway and Boundary. Last I remember it was pricier than other AYCE places but the quality is better - the best of the worst I guess

Le Bistro de Paris
8.5/10

Lobster bisque
Soup de jour (Tomato and Gin)
Country pate
Pomme frites
Duck breast with glazed apples and Calvados
Porcini stuffed jumbo ravioli tossed in truffle butter and peccorino
Mousse au chocolat

The french fries were the low point of the meal, crispy on the outside but the inside was not tender. Otherwise, every other dish was one highlight after another especially the entrees. Service is above average but there is no A/C so it's a bit uncomfortable for dining.

For the price, bistro dining is great.

Thai Son on 1st Ave.

I went here tonight 'cuz it's only 2 blocks away from my house. I used to enjoy the rice dishes, but they have been really shitty lately. The chicken was flat like a piece of toast and the rice was soggy.
