I didnt like the bearnaise or peppercorn.
Couldnt taste much flavor. I rarely eat steak with sauce because a good piece of meat shouldnt need overpowering sauces.
I am gonna recommend our next company dinner for this place!

Dona Cata's claim to fame is tacos, so I wouldn't expect a great mole. Would you go to a steakhouse and order lobster? | There's also the related restaurant to El Caracol on that same strip (at the far left, facing the restaurant). They had a great mole.
Dona Cata is a Mexican restaurant; I figured they could make a decent mole.

Went to The American Cheesesteak place earlier. I had the Cowboy, gf had the New Yorker, and we shared the ACC fries. I'd rate my food a 6/10. I felt mine was a bit too fancy for my liking. I would have preferred just a simple philly cheesesteak with. My bread was really good while my gf's was quite soft. I thought her bread might have been soft because of all the sauce, who knows. The fries were bland. They tasted like any old regular fries I could get from anywhere, not impressed with them. For $33 ish, I wasn't impressed. I will try the place again, just to see what the other cheesesteaks are like. Posted via RS Mobile |

My Greek Restaurant in Maillardville. Had the roast lamb entrée and the calamari appetizer.
Lamb was good and tender, calamari had nice light batter. Prices average. Would return again. 7.5/10 Posted via RS Mobile |

Had lunch at Miko Sushi today. Food's good and executed well. Though it lacked in quantity, the value is there considering it's sushi and in downtown. Sushi box was $11 (plus tax and tips) and it got me 4 pieces of sushi, tempura, 2x yakitori and 6 pieces of sushi. Probably not enough food for most people on this forum though.
BTW anyone tried Don Guacamole? There's finally a groupon out for something close to where I work. Let me know if it's worth a visit.

The Red Wagon
7/10
Crispy Pork Belly Sandwich - like a banh mi with chinese bbq pork. Pickled vegetables overpowered the pork. Way too greasy. In-house fried "chips" too oily and lacked crunch.
Butternut squash soup (soup de jour) - Quite good. Smooth, creamy probably the best dish overall.
Pulled pork sandwich (gf's) - on a portuguese bun. Pulled pork a touch dry. Slaw too tangy, again overpowering whole sandwich. Fries were good.
Apple pie - good crust and mildly spiced apples, might be bland for some but definitely tastes homemade.
Slow service but friendly. Messed up a drink order, my fries substitute which I didn't get but they still charged. Pricey for those who don't care for organic, local products. Overrated based on the hype.
