Reno's @ East Broadway and Main
Had the breakfast special: $3.95, 2 eggs, bacon/sausage, toast, hashbrowns.
Cheap food, a little on the dirty side. 7.5/10

Even Hoi An gives a generous amount of meat in their Pho.
0/10 for Pho Boi

Via Veneto, run by the former owner of Amarcord in Yaletown. One of the best Italian restaurants in the city!
1.5lbs lobster on a bed of spaghetti - "Astice alla Veneziana." This dish is just sublime. 11/10
I have had almost every item on the menu since the Amarcord days, and have never had a bad dish. I totally encourage you to try them. Via Veneto - Ristorante Italiano

Tomoya Sushi - Corner of Kingsway and Nelson
This is the second time I've tried this place due to location, and have been grossly disappointed both times, tonight being the worst.
Ordered 2x 'Premium' Dynamite Roll and 5x "Wild' Salmon Nigiri.
The 'Premium' Dynamite Rolls (which cost more then the regular ones) were smaller then a typical cali roll, with rice wrapped around one small piece of prawn tempura. (how could there even be a 'lesser' version of this roll??)
The 'Wild" salmon Nigiri was fatty, and the pieces could not have been smaller. I'm talking MAX half a centimeter thick.
1/10. Pathetic. I'm almost angry that's how bad it is. Maybe it's because I'm white and they don't take me seriously, but it's not like i'm ordering beef teriyaki rolls.

Las Margaritas on W 4th Ave
Had the Carnitas tacos. It was just meh. Tasted kinda weird and not what I was expecting. Had the nachos as an appetizer and it was just alright.
I'd give it a 5.5/10. Definitely had better Mexican elsewhere.

Not sure what all this hype is over Korean style pork belly....it's just fucking pork belly on a hot plate.
And to a comment earlier about wanting to eat porkbelly in Korea, do you think they have better pork over there? LOL. They don't. Garlic also tastes the same. As with lettuce. Only different shit is condiments and little bits and pieces. We're not talking about Japan here who actually care about ingredients (wagyu beef, kurobuta pork..etc).
I'd rather have Chinese/Viet style marinated porkbelly.
LOL @ you guys paying retarded $$ for dumbass korean-style porkbelly.

Wow, you're pretty heated about this. I eat what I want, never told you to agree with me. You want to bring this over to NSFW forum? They're arguing about the pronunciation of Pho there.

Seems like you mad bro, something wrong about having a differing opinion?
Although mine is more right than yours.

The korean food I only like is bibimbap...
Korean bbq is a waste of money imo. I don't know why everyone like the bbq, it's basically soy sauce, sugar and shit all over the meat.

speaking of bi bim bap,
its about only $6 from crystal mall in their food court. i liked it, and they actually give it to you in a stone pot. its non sense without it. rice was crisp on the bottom which makes it that much better.
now this was definitely not overpriced!!

place near tnt on 1st. It's a chacha ting that recently renovated with apparently pretty good congee. Owner is pretty funny. had macau style curry, big portion and me and a buddy shared the deep fried squid chili pepper thing. It was pretty good.
Was satisfied, 8/10.
