Costco uses their smoked meat for the sandwiches, least the Costco downtown does.

Delta pizza - surrey BC 129 / 84 avenue. East indian style pizza, I'm actually a regular it's 10/10 for me mind blowing.

100% vegetarian, so I get a vegetarian pizza with all his spices (jalapeno, green chili, red chili flake, ginger, slantro, pinapple, onion, yellow pepper, etc) he also uses like 25% skimmed mozeralla cheese.

lol $13 for a large with a pop.

That's possible but I have no idea as I don't go to that mall that often. I just assumed it may have closed and never noticed it again. Has their stuff improved because it really didn't taste like anything special when I first tried.

Their smoked meat was pretty good. However, the gravy on their poutine is kind of sweet.

Poutine at La Belle Patate is better imo.

ABC Country (Schoolhouse): 8/10

Still have yet to find a better deal for eggs benedicts (for dinner to boot!). Taste and value are great.

Having a cute waitress helps the rating as well

La Pentola
8/10

Great family-style Italian fare. Excellent service and knowledge, from front-of-house staff, to servers and bussers. Food was excellent. I enjoyed the food here much moreso than my experiences at The Poor Italian and Quattro.

-2 points for serving Lavazza coffee. They should have a proper Italian espresso machine using a dark roast from Casa Del Caffee at the very least. What a disappointment and insult to the quality of food they serve.

What's wrong with Lavazza? I like it more than illy which is supposedly higher quality.

Without going into a history lesson, when it comes to illy and Lavazza, the word quality should never be found in the same sentence. PM me if you want more details.

wife had the NY steak again

I went to Raudz last yr when I was in Kelowna. If I remember correctly, the food was pretty good. I'd say 8/10, we had Baked Fish & Chips and Pan Seared Haida Gwaii halibut.

La belle 8.5/10

Montreal smoked meat sandwich is sooo good and tender.
Smoked meat poutine is so darn good too.
A little pricey for the sandwich but it's definitely worth the try.

Abigail's Party in Kits. 8/10.

Cozy, casual place. Solid steak frites (could have used a larger plate to place the food though). Lemon tart was a bit oddball (too much puff pastry). Made a nice Hendrick's mule.

G/f pointed out the perfect boobs on waitress. I agreed 100%.
