Thanks Guys, Sushi with Yuji was an awesome experience. Just walking in and smelling that fresh fish smell totally got my appetite going.
Obviously I ordered the Omakase and was not disappointed at all. We also ordered the BBQ salmon belly since my last favorite place for salmon belly closed down. Even that was great.
Overall I left with a full stomach and the quality was superb.
Will go again, and would recommend this place to anyone who wants quality sushi.

$65 for 2 people, omakase. Solid 9/10. Fresh tasting, terrific service. Restaurant was sadly empty on Saturday at 8pm. I hope they gain more fans soon.
Spoiler!
1st dish - sashimi
2nd - ika with shisho, salmon with lemon
3rd - uni with ikura, negitoro with quail egg
4th - botan ebi, chopped scallop
5th - negitoro, spicy asparagus avocado
Extra - kohada

Did the $65 include everything pictured? Just curious because I only got miso soup and your first, second, third and extra dish. I'm feeling slightly ripped off knowing that you guys got more than me for the same price.
I'm hoping it was just a one off thing and I caught him on a off day, which I don't think I did because me and my gf were the only ones there. It's a shame because everything was so good. That's the only reason I'm willing to try it again.

I would hope the $65 did not include everything! Typically, I've paid about $65 for two people for about the same as what you described. It really depends on the items he serves you.
If rageguy actually got all of that for $65, I hope it's a mistake because I'd shit a huge brick.

If you read the last dish, he states he got it from Bone sushi - a diff restaurant.
"Drools, love salmon belly, time to go back to yuji
And looks like he has a good lunch special going on for 10bucks, 4 nigiri, 2 rolls, salad and miso.
Yeah, I'd be a bit choked. I hope Yuji tries to stay relatively consistent.
Try the omasake again and see if he gives you more lol?
Or maybe Rageguy went on a day where Yuji was feeling happy? haha, who knows. I'd be choked too, but I'd still visit the joint.
$65 was for 1 to 5. Extra (Kohada) was $3.00.
So everything I posted for Yuji would be 65+3. Negligible, yes. Perhaps I did catch Yuji on a good day, or perhaps I looked like a food blogger/reviewer because me and my +1 both took a LOT of pictures per dish.
I've found that it really depends on what you actually get. He calculates the final price based on the menu price, discounts it by a certain percentage as opposed to number of "dishes" you are served. I think next time (or anybody who goes next time) ask him for say a 4 or 5 course omakase and see what he says.
(Or be prepared to pay dearly.)

Imperial Beijing Chinese Restaurant on NO 3 in Richmond next to Staples.
Wanted to eat Peking Duck and this place was decently reviewed and prices reasonable.
Ordered: Peking duck, duck lettuce wrap, pea tips in superior broth and honey garlic spareribs
Pros:
- Peking duck was alright. Skin crispy
- Price reasonable and reflects portion size and rating/grade of restaurant
- Pea tips was very tender but broth was quite salty
Cons:
- Duck lettuce wrap had this funky 5 spice taste (too much used - I assumed to cover up the wrap the duck was old - Ordered Honey Garlic Spareribs and was given Honey Garlic Porkchops. Pulled the waitress and ask what this is and her response "This is how we make it here". Did not appreciate this bait and switch. See attached picture cause apparently spareribs are suppose to be homogeneous porkchops....!
- Service was shit. Waitress just throw the dish down on your table and runs away. They did the same with the other table too when a customer asked if there was egg in their fried rice.
- Seated in the worst part of the restaurant possible. Walked in without reservation at 5:30pm Friday and seated in their overfill storage room. Sad note was that the same table I was eying on was still free and open by the time I left at 6:45pm. Restaurant was at most 75% full.....
Overall rating: 2/5. I ate here for dimsum and for dinner and unfortunately I will never return again due to the questionable service and the bait and switch (ordered honey garlic spareribs but was given honey garlic porkchops)
Saw someone posted it on this thread a few posts earlier, decided to go check it out with the GF today.
Shared a hot fudge sundae, it tasted great. I love the old-school decor, my GF enjoyed it as well.
Friendly staff, their little daughter was taking orders and handling the money while the parents were busy making the orders. Quite a lineup when I went, not enough seats.
