that was a big turn off, wasn't worth it. If it was like $14, I would say its perfect but $17+ ...

Tora Sushi
6.5/10
Tuna/Sockeye sashimi, fresh nothing special.
Chicken Yakitori was good but not worth it.

MATCH Eatery. Typical sports bar. Slow service. Food was average (I feel Boston Pizza is way better). My Bacon Ceaser was OK. I make way better at home. Boring pizza (was supposed to be thin crust and was more like regular crust). Mussels was also average. (once again I can make better) Will not return. 5/10 rating only cause we received a 25% discount when we complained about the slow service otherwise it be a 4.5/10
Sushi Go. Looks can be deceiving but never had any bad food here. Had their food several times. Some of the best chicken karaage I've ever had. Juicy and succulent decent sized pieces. 9/10 Tuna Tataki was also one of the best I've ate. Melts in your mouth tenderness 9/10. Limited seating as its better for takeout. Service is average but well makes up for it in their food. Good to decent prices. 8/10 due to seating and such crappy parking lot Quote:

Chicken Yakitori was good but not worth it. | For what they charge for their portions its definitely not worth it. If they had better pricing then the food would be worth it.

Had lunch plans with a client in Langley today and after finding out today was World Oyster Day, did a quick Google search for oysters in Langley and switched venues to the Fat Cow The Fat Cow | Just another Fat Cow site
Oysters and appies were great with house made sauces for everything we ordered. Nice beers on tap as well. Wouldn't think to stop in if I happened to drive past it but glad I did. Would recommend and return but wouldn't go out of my way to do so.
Overall 8/10

Grape and Soda; mixologists was great when he made the old fashioned. Went there for drinks only and sat right by the bar.
(only went for drinks). only 30+ seats and only 1 waitress. Will come back to try the food.
Sai Woo, again only drinks, man this place is DEAD. no one was there, menu was totally weak. the bartender wasn't even smiling the entire time. Would never go back It's a huge place with 100+ seats. won't go back
Via Tevere Pizzeria: food was good, pizza was legit, just make sure you are patient, you can't sit down until entire group is on site + no reservations. 8/10

Queensborough needs a good sushi place, having two (one at the outlets and one in the ghetto residential area) doesn't cut it.
Lunch options in the area is meh. If I have to pick a place, Naanbites is pretty good.

Indochine Kitchen
7/10
Flavours are there but it is on the salty side. GF didn't like it saying too much salt but I didn't mind.
Don't expect any great service out of this place, couple really young servers running the place, they are also the bartenders of this place?
I saw only one older asian chef in the kitchen with a server helping out. LOL
Price isn't consider cheap btw, comparable to Phnom Penh, their mother restaurant

ebisu
came at 12am , place closes at 1, last call already made but Obsideon let us in and received great service. Had truffle fries and chicken kaarage, both excellent. Prepare to eat a lot of fries when ordering it!
10/10
Fish Counter
The main guy in the fish station wasn't there, they had a new guy working and fucked up my order when I came home. Ordered 2 pieces of halibut, received one hali and one pacific cod.... I paid an extra $5 for halibut, called back, the owner said I will receive 2 piece for free next time I come. Great owner to talk to, totally understands the customer
7/10

Octopus Garden 8.5/10. For a $200 meal, 4 out of 10 items leaving a lot to be desired is disappointing. However, the ones that were done right were great. Gave an extra point for using freshly grated real wasabi that doesn't give me a headache Quote:

Even when I try to ask places here to grill it longer, still not the same. |
