9/10 due to seating being quite tight and the food was a tad too salty for my palette. highly recommended though for a night out and a good experience! for 2 of us bill came to 70 after tax n tip we were walking away full, but didn't go into the restaurant that hungry to begin with.. a little too pricey for me to be a regular thing but definitely a treat. did i mention the service was extremely attentive?! definite thumbs up
i love the service at kingyo. all the servers are extremely friendly and always make you feel welcome.

http://www.burnabypalace.com/index.html

wanted to go eat chinese food in burnaby, but didnt want to go fancy.

Anyways, friend told me about this place saying it was pretty decent...

Let me say...this place is pretty darn good for your money...

the House Special Chicken is really good, i thot it was gonna be so dry in the middle, but it was moist and really tasty...the spicy lamb slices are kinda oily, but are really tasty as well...

8.5/10

Beef tripe & wonton noodle soup @ No.9 7/10. Nothing special but probably the best noodle soup one can get at 3am in the morning.

anduccis on hastings

food was horrible - pasta was over-cooked and the sauce was bland. meatballs were not cooked - they were still pink inside.

service was good up until the bill came - total was 41 bucks, i put 60 in, 15 minutes later our server came back and asked if i wanted change.

food 0/5 i mean how hard is it to make pasta and meatballs?
service 1/5
bar service 4/5 because my friend dropped her fork and he promptly came with a new one

btw it was a wednesday night at 7pm - restarant was at maybe 35 percent of capacity, so they were definitely not busy

It is what it is. It's not a gourmet burger by any means, but for a burger shack/fast food type burger I found it not bad. It doesn't look pretty, but the patties taste good.

Different tastes for different folks.

Sushi Garden on Lougheed.

Terrible service. I will never go there again. I know they're new, but they are uber unorganized - even when they were not at capacity. People were pretty upset the one day I went (Sunday 1:00 pm).

Food is OK. Average, just. Their maguro is bland. Big pieces for sure. There are some really good dishes, so maybe I'm being unfair.

Sushi Town in North Vancouver

Connected to a McDonalds?

Interior Ambience is very classy, feels like an Earls, not a sushi restaurant.

Spicy Salmon Sashimi

Nigiri

Deep Fried Tuna Rolls

Chopped Scallop Roll

Specialty Mango Roll (Can't remember the name) EDIT: It was called the Mangodise Roll... recommended

Really not too shabby. 8.5/10. Would definitely go back. Service was bloody terrible however.

Just like with both sushi garden locations.. one does not go there expecting great service.. it's been their weakpoint forever.
