Went to Han Ju Korean Hot Pot in Richmond today for lunch.
It's a nice little place in the same plaza as Richmond Sushi with decent portions at an OK price. Not the cheapest pricing, but still not the most expensive.
I ordered a Seafood Bowl with Udon.
Came out great, everything was hot, nothing to complain about the quality of food.
You get a choice of mild, medium, or hot for level of spiciness.
What was lacking in my opinion is better trained staff. They were awfully quiet and weren't very enthusiastic. I understand when sometimes you just don't have the energy to work but the level that they were showing wasn't very acceptable IMO.
Their stores are located at
Richmond: 8328 Capstan Way
Burnaby: 4500 Kingsway

Stonegrill 2/10. What a waste of money. Will never go back. There are plenty of other places to spend your hard earned money. Food was bland.
Would you pay: $34 + HST + forced tip = $42 for this entree - two tiny rack of lambs (when the waiter assured that it would be a 'good size'?)
All my friends had equally bad experience. Hard to tell from the photo just how small these pieces were. Also, you get virtually no vegetables. Extra dinner rolls cost $2? Crazy. I've learned that a quality dining experience involves someone else doing the cooking for you. LOL.

Here's a better pic of the lamb. So small!!
My friend got a salad..
$10 before HST and forced tip-> $14 salad
It also tasted terrible as a salad, but this doesn't surprise me since the restaurant doesn't have any actual chefs. LOL. The presentation was shitty, and the egg yolk had turned green all around. A sign that the egg had been prepared many hours ago, and not actually a fresh boiled egg.

you should not have chosen stone grill in the first place. You're paying money for the privilege to cook your own food. I might as well stay home and cook it myself?

Hey LiquidTurbo, how come you were forced to pay tip at StoneGrill?
Was it because you were in a party of 8+ ?
I must also agree that Stone Grill licks balls, I'm surprised they're still in business and opened another location at Metrotown where Ricky's used to be.

I was also at Stonegrill tonight. And yes, it's not worth your money.
5/10
Slow service, food is not phenomenal for what they're charging you. And I needed to swing by McDonald's on my way home.
The only thing that could be remotely considered compensation for the $105 I paid after tips (for a party of 2) was the nice view.

i still can't believe people still go to stone grill after the multiple fail threads we have on here.
not only does it not taste good, try ordering fish, you will smell like seafood when you come out of the place.
