Place must be pretty good if it makes you want to puke and it still gets a 6/10.

Candia Taverna (Greek): 7/10
+ Good food and decent portions (Grilled Seafood).
- Weird and cramped dining area and washroom, slow service.

The Observatory on Grouse Mountain - 9/10. Stunning views, amazing food. Only downside was that the tables seemed to be crammed in a bit tight. Waiter was borderline obsequious as well, but I guess that's normal for this type of joint... rich dicks probably eat it up, but it doesn't really fly with me.
Would definitely make that a regular place to eat if I could afford the nearly-$90-per-person cost.

They should be attentive, not stifling.

I did say "borderline". Like, I understand it's your job to take the plate right from the table without me touching it... but don't make a fuss if I DO hand it to you, especially when you're having a hard enough time squeezing between us and the wall because you have the tables too close together.
Might not have noticed so much if the yummy blonde had been working our table

Charcoal Sushi on Westminster hwy
Boss took the staff for lunch, so I didn't really get to try as much as I wanted, but the Chicken Yakiudon, California Roll were both really solid for your standard dishes. Had some Korean BBQ as well which was money, the beef was really tender, melt in your mouth.
Service for an Asian restaurant was attentive and quick.
I'll definitely be back to try out more of the specialty food, some of the rolls looked really good in the pictures.
8.5/10

Memphis Blues - Lonsdale North Van.
-100/10
This place sucks balls. By far, the worst BBQ I have ever had. Dry and bland. Those of you who like Memphis Blues should get your tastebuds checked out.

I found their meat to be too fatty & greasy. The fries and coleslaw were edible though.

Vancouver Tibet Kitchen
9/10 (hey it's the only one of it's kind so far here!)
Located on Fraser and 50th. Their handmade noodle soup was really good and so was the Chicken Momos (dumplings). Give it a try!
