I ate at Pho Bich Nga before. It was not bad but it was definitely not the most comfortable place to take your date for dinner.

Brave Bull's Steak House
8/10
Ordered a New York Steak with fried rice. Pretty tasty and hard to complain for the price.

10 bucks for a steak dinner?
15 if you want the really good meat.
It's like stepping back into the 80s.
Speaking of which, time to head back again.

I've been twice and both times I enjoyed it. The food isn't the world's greatest but for the price, the stories you hear and seeing how two old couples pouring their lives into a steak house is in the end well worth it.

Kimura Sushi, 8/10. Chef Kimura wears a watch & a bracelet while working - I think that is inexcusable. Otherwise, it was a good meal, although the Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice dish was a bit low class in presentation compared to the other dishes. Sushi rolls were made a little haphazardly, but the rice was made well.
Kobe Beef Carpaccio. Not really a carpaccio, as the beef was seared a little. White truffle oil was a nice touch. Red onions should have been sliced much thinner.
Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice. The green leaf lettuce cheapens the dish a little. I would have used a Belgian Endive and Radicchio.
Unagi Roll & Spider Roll. Rolls weren't rolled tightly enough, and a little too much rice in the Unagi Roll. The balance between rice and main ingredients was a bit off.
