My insurance rate is fucked for the time being. I got into an accident, so it's +30% surcharge. I should get a 5% discount upcoming year, then hopefully in 2 years I'll be back to where I was before. 92 civic, $3000. LOL
Insurance maybe still under their name but i still pay for it... cheaper for me anyways

While car insurance is generally cheaper in Alberta, "full coverage" is a subjective term, even if you have the same deductibles and liability coverage. The programs between provinces are set up completely differently meaning that full coverage in one province does not provide identical benefits to full coverage in another.

ICBC sucks.
You suck as much as ICBC.

You pay $3.5K/yr to insure a car worth maybe double that? Take collision and comprehensive off and you'll save 1/3 to 1/2 I bet.

More then that, my truck payment is $650, Insurance $200 a month and my fuel bill is $800-1400 a month depending on where our jobs is located and how much driving I'm doing that month. So on the low end it's like $1600+ a month.
