^Yeah you just need to hold a valid license but damn 4800 is brutal, two years of insurance is already the same if not more than your car's worth

does anyone know if 43% is the max discount you can get?

heard somewhere that if i change the insurance to only allow people with 10+ yrs license to drive there would be an additional discount?

Question: I had an accident last December and my insurance is gonna go up 55% this year, 40% 2nd year, 30% on the 3rd and back to -5% on the 4th year.
My question is if I dont get insurance on the first year, would it be 40% next year or do I have to start with 55%? Thanks

Let me know

It counts from your license year not from the time from your buying your insurance

i pay 3000/year for my GLK with 25% discount (got my license a few years late) with 3M everything and 600 deductable with 300 per accident from 3rd party insurance (thus 300 deduct) and 5 years if total lose, new car for 1700.

my Mazda 5 07 is also around that with 600 deducts and 5M everything cuz I dont drive it myself. No 3rd party insurance on it.

I WAS paying 239 a month on my 1990 300zx.I don't know how much now because last year my wheel feel off my car, icbc called it a collision cause I collided with the ground (WTF) and gave me a 55% surcharge ( I was only at a 5% discount) and I now haven't driven the car since November lol, but that was how much I was paying lol
