Much louder! BEAST inside parking lots though, I'm sure you know what I mean . If you drive in D, you'll probably be annoyed because its loud, but doesn't get you anywhere hahahaha.
I drive in the semi-manual mode now so that the sounds are much less and you can control more power in the car.
We went to IFC mall and found our way to the underground parking lot. The next group of cars we saw by just walking for 2 minutes in the underground. There was plenty more underground, but we were in a hurry and had to make dinner. Either way, worth the detour!
Coming through the door, a nice 599
I'm not sure if they were going for a GTO look with the black roof
Old Rolls stretch
Kitted 599
A pair of matching Rolls
Phantom
I believe this is a Brabus V12 G-Wagon
R34 Skyline
Phantom, LS600HL and one of those awesome vans (sorry I get all the models mixed up)
Needless to say, a lot of money down here. I wish I had more time to explore.
Went to Macau for a couple of days. I now know how to spot Mainlanders. The car scene in Macau is a little different. Nearly every sport compact has a bodykit. Most are otherwise totally stock, but they will have a full kit on. Strange. Some interesting cars in Macau:
LS600HL on a side street near the cathedral/fortress. Odd to see such a large car in a sea of scooters.
Nice EVO
Parked outside the Grand Lisboa hotel - we went here for one of the largest buffets in the world supposedly. It was presented well but the variety was so/so.
Panamera going by
Back to HK
CLS
Ghost waiting outside an expensive mall.
Driver is inside waiting
Near Times Square Gallardo with plate "Patrick" waiting a light next to a Flying Spur. I saw the "Patrick" car again in LKF a couple of days later.
Went to a motorcycle shop with my buddies as they wanted gear. I think it was in Mongkok, but I was pretty hung over and forgot haha.
M5
Walking by an apartment complex, I spotted this M5. It had a widebody kit and a matte grey-ish finish. Very striking. Unfortunately I couldn't get any closer to it
Civic Type-R - These look and sound incredible. Please Honda bring your proper R models here!
Another Ghost
Cool-looking Beetle
Sciroccos and GTIs are really common here. Lots of them modded
I really liked these backup lights as crappy as they may look. Makes parallel parking at night a lot easier and may prevent a curbed wheel or two
Had to go back to the motorcycle shops. Saw a kitted Scirocco outside a motorsports shop
Parked in front of it was a Veilside FD like the one from F&F. Fucking awesome to see in person!!
Outside Langham Place
Hit up LKF too many nights. I loved the atmosphere there
Flying Spur navigating the crowded streets
911 Turbo on one of the upper streets
Evora parked right behind it.
Beautiful F430 on one of the lower streets
So striking in that yellow with the optional BBS wheels
Totally hammered, we went to some late night eating place in LKF and my honger friend said these people were on some show. They looked like average people to me but meh I was drunk enough. Not hard to guess who I am haha.
Got back home and felt like this guy, such an exhausting but fun trip
That being said. I miss HK. Way better nightlife, transportation system and just more to do overall. Vancouver seems so boring and pretentious now. That being said, it's only a place to live when you are in your 20's and 30's. I wouldn't want to start a family there.

Kev
Lucky you Kev. I'd love to meet Mag Lam in real life. She's the girl in the middle, closest to you. Winner of the latest "The Voice 2" singing competition series. Plus, all of the other ones are contestants from The Voice 1 and 2.

Kitted 599
Kev
That's a california not a 599 but damn that's a sweet looking kit, Nice spot!
If you are wondering what "The Voice" is, it's like American Idol, but in Hong Kong, and all the finalists sound like the horrible contestants on the audition shows of AI. The judges never say anything bad, because if they did, that is all they would be able to do.
Thanks mx100! Pleasure meeting you too. Was a great feeling to hang out with other Vancouverites and catch the playoff games there. A memory I will never forget.
dL and Skinnypupp, thanks for the clarification on who they are. They were good sports letting us take a photo with them. I think that was at 2 or 3 in the morning haha.
And yes, that's absolutely a California. Total brain fart on my part.

Try driving it in semi-manual
i drive in TIP mode 24/7.. putting the car in D is a pain with the extremely slow reaction....
and of course i know what u mean its a beast in parking lots. I set off alarms everytime i drive by... or start my car in front of a honda.... LOL!
