| Best Acura Dealership for service?
Have to get my TL serviced and was wondering which Acura dealership you have had the best experience service wise. Thanks!

For the life of God, do not ever step into Burrard Acura. I have always dealt with Langley Acura or Surrey Honda, and I have had nothing but pleasureable experiences. Both the fat fuck they call an Service Dept Assistant Manager - "Steve" - and the Service Dept Manager "Dan" (i believe it is) at Burrard Acura are horrible customer service leaders. Absolutely unacceptable service. Patronizing, belittling, unhelpful, disrespectful, and just completely RUDE.
My dad and uncle had stormed out of Burrard Sales Department about 15 years ago because of the atrocious service that was offerred then. And now, that same bullshit service is there, but much more visible in the Service department.
Absolute garbage for service. Pathetic.

Oh, both the Sales department and the Service department at the Langley Acura are also much more accomodating and hospitable. They were on top of things and we had never run into any problems in the year or so of dealing with them.

salesmen had attitude as well | i used to let the dealership wash the car for me, because i was lazy to wash my car in the middle of winter. but after seeing they use brushes instead of a wash mitt. i think im going to wash the car myself

I just had my first service done by the dealership, then everyone after by minit tune on #3 rd. I just had to have everything documented b/c the car was under a lease at the time.

A big thumbs down for Richmond Acura from me. Terrible reception and service, and will NOT be bringing my car there ever again.

Northshore Acura - good service from the CS reps.
They actually listen to you and what requests you may have. I requested for a valve adjustment and they actually did it.
Unlike Burrard and Richmond, when asked about it, they simply said:"You don't need it." and that was it. Thy didn't even check anything.

I just had an oil change done at Richmond Acura. They seem OK - at least this time they stuck to their promised delivery time for when the oil change was done.
I had a Type B service done last summer and they took a grand total of 4 hours to do the job. (well, it was more like 3 hours parked in the parking lot and maybe an hour actually working on my car).
It was a "free" service (included when the car was purchased) which may have been a factor since it did seem like a pretty busy day that day. This time, I had to pay for the service and they seemed to get it done on time. Swirly car wash and all...
I'll have to check out North Shore one of these days. I've heard only good things about the place (their sales and service).

i never take my car to the dealership, unless it's something i can physically do myself. ie electrical or brakes.
then again in my family we have very simple cars. 1.7EL, Integra, Corolla and my 240.

bringing back an old thread because i didn't want to repost... has anything changed? it seems unanimous that richmond acura is the worst, and burrard was mixed, but i cannot find any reviews post-manage change... i haven't heard one bad thing about langley, but it's a long drive.
