my phone works fine, after reading that link about the water indicator, my dock connector indicator has been tripped. I have never exposed my phone to water except for applying the invisible shield. :(

Bossprefs was replaced with sbsettings last year. It works better and the interface is nicer.

Did anybody update there Cydia app and lost sms alerts? I updated my Illumine theme, some libhide thing, categories and today Lockscreen info.

And some reason I don't get any alerts now. doesn't ring or vibrate no popup my irealquicksms quickreply doesn't work :(

just talk to a fido csr and tell them to block ur internet. dusnt matter whether the fone is rogers branded or not

iPhone Configuration Utility is the easiest. Just create a data profile with bogus APN data and apply it to your phone. Or if you have access to the APN settingson your iPhone just edit the info to something bogus.

2G's on craigslist are pretty cheap. Saw one for 180 the other day. Better than buying a logic board. Those things are expensive.

does anyone have problems downloading the tomtom gps? i cant seem to get it downloading. it wants to download in 12 different files
oh and i downloaded some of the files directly on my iphone. Does the file stay there and if so, how do i get rid of it?

I've already called fido and they told me that they put all 3 or 4 blocks. I can still access the internet through 3G though. I've used the fake apn from unlockit.co.nz and that doesn't work. Ive even tried using SBSettings and turning off 3G, but even that doesn't work.

look for it on the piratebay. that would be the easiest.

I'm avoiding Blackra!n for now. My phone kept crashing wth 3.1.2 after I used it. I'm using pwnage tools custom firmware method. So far so good.

i used blackra1n to jb my brand new 3gs and it works just fine.
all you do is download the program on your computer, plug ur ipod in, then run blackra1n. simple as that.

yeah, i had the latest updates and everything.
so far, i love it. Once you jb'd it, you just gota get to know which programs to use for mods and google has all that information

plus this was the first time i ever jailbroke a phone and it was damn easy! took less than 5 mins for it to jailbreak
