better to just get the 3gs, the zoom is great :D

camera zoom is really useless for pre-3gs.

they're just using the software to zoom in, compromising clarity.

It's not like the 3GS has optical zoom. Zoom is all digital regardless of what iphone/app you have.

is it more refined though? I've just been using random camera apps to do it and they're super shitty

Not sure as I only have a 3G. It might be cropping down the pic? You can usually get away with a very small amount of digital zoom

Is it only me or does most, if not all, of the sounds come from the iPhone's left speaker? I wonder if I have issue.

Anyone have any suggestions for a good rubber/silicone case?

i like the slim cases. i have a threadless/griffin case (which fits perfectly - the hole for the camera is centered perfectly) which is a nice thin rubber case. i have a similar case but in flat black from moshi. i have pure(ar) screen protector which has a matte finish that is virtually smudge free but affects the view of the screen to a slight degree (a bit of a prism effect) but you get used to it.

Yeah I was looking at the slim ones too. The only thing I am worried about with the rubber ones is lint sticking all over it when I have it in my pocket.

are most of your guys iphone jailbroken? is it really worth it to jailbreak? i've had my phone for almost a year now and haven't jailbroken it yet, don't know if it's worth it or if it's too much of a hassle when updating haha

are you kidding me ? i wouldnt buy this phone if jailbreaking wasn't availible. jb allows you mod your phone to your liking, changing everything about the layout, and allows you use any programs for free. thats like a free pass to all programs microsoft, you wouldn't do it ?

i was thinking of doing it but isn't it a hassle to keep updating cydia and whatnot when a new current update comes from itunes

well 3G was down earlier, i don't know if that's your problem. is there even a 3G icon?

3g icon was on but no data ip address showing on sbsettings. its all good now...must have been a hicup from the network...now i know how much i need internet on my iphone!

NCIX I think sells capdase.. But I was afraid they weren't thin enough and didn't wrap the metal bezel well.
