fk i got thes partially installed apps from the app store that wont install and i cant delete them the normal way (hold and press X) do i need a PC to remove them?

partial install from the Apple App store? I didn't think that was possible? Cause if it doesn't install or download completely, when you press to launch it, it should make it download and install again.

You'll need a PC. If it appears in itunes remove it from their. You may need to SSH into it and nuke the folder too.

well plugged into my laptop and fired up itunes. they both disappeared. could be the filtering at my work wifi. the app did say 17+ so that could be why it hung. fixed now. thanks guys :)

anyways a new issue. just did a fresh 3.1.2 reset and JB. now the phone doesnt show up in explorer? i cant put my photos back on thephone. i've tried rebooting laptop and phones. uninstalled driver and reinstalled.

go to your folder options and check off hide extensions for known file types. listen to the song you want to use as the ringtone on itunes, then edit the song and make it 30 seconds long. create an acc version of it, drag it off itunes onto your desktop. change the ".m4a" to ".m4r" after that, listen to the .m4r version. go to your ringtone tab on your iphone synced with itunes, it should show up after. long process i know.

random "could not activate cellular network" warnings that didnt do anthing. pissed me off so i did a fresh install.

the last reset i did i did a restore after as i had some game saves i wanted to keep.

caused all kinds of app install issues

this time i set up as new, then synced apps and contacts (not restore). everthing is gravy :)

Yeah restoring doesn't work well I find. I always start fresh since all my apps and contacts are just sync'd over

same, with the 2g and 3g versions, this seems to work best.

there's a quicker way if you know how to ssh :)

So lately my iphone is taking forever to load my applications, even text messaging. It seems very sluggish and slow. Does anyone know what could be causing this? It is a iphone 3g btw.
