iPhone OS 4 was demo'ed today. Looks good. I'll need to upgrade to a 3GS to make use of it...lol...oh well. |
FINALLY! MULTITASKING ON THE IPHONE! http://gizmodo.com/5512656/iphone-mu...simultaneously http://gizmodo.com/5512966/iphone-os-4-hands+on-video |
that sucks it won't work for the 3G iphone, i guess i'll have to wait and just buy the new iphone |
hmm.. skype |
well, the 3g hardware is pretty slow compared to the 3gs. I'm not surprised they decided not to have multitasking on the 3g and reserve it for the 3gs. |
The funny thing is that the Itouch 3g will have os 4.0 multi tasking but the Iphone 3g wont wtf... |
woohoo.. my phone all of a sudden superheats itself.. gets no signal.. dies.. force me to restore to 3.1.3 -_-.. fuk the iphone.. nothing but problems |

How do you turn off 3G and Edge and everything that involves a data plan on the iphone 3g? I never ever use anywhere close to my 500mb/month, but a couple of days ago i got an text saying i used 80%, then today i woke up and got another text saying i used 100% of my data. My "month" is almost over, i think either the 15th-20th. And I don't want to be charged for extra data. I've turned off 3G from the settings menu, along with push for email. Also with sbsettings I turned off the 3G switch, but i think its the same as the settings thing. So now it shows E for edge on the top and it still will load webpages but at a very slow speed. Is there a way to completely disable even edge while still being able to call and text? |
you need to shut off the data updates like email checking, push notifications and any widget updates of any kind. |
Ive done that, but it still shows E. And when I checked my data count for the month it still increased by xx kb. |
I just bought a brand new 3GS and it feels so fragile... What do you guys recommend I should get to protect my phone and what brand? Like casing, screen protector etc etc. Thanks. |
^ if like the thickness as is, id get a zagg or bse, both full body shields if you like a case for it, i prefer the incase sliders, since they provide full protection around (no real shock absorber if you drop it though) and does not add too much thickness to the overall device. |

I NEED SOME1 TO RELEASE A JAILBREAK FOR 3.1.3!!! FREAKING WAITING FOREVER! |
Wheres the 3.1.3 unlock? :( |
perhaps they have given up on 3.1.3 and dedicated their unlocks and jailbreaks for 4.0. |
Ya just wait a few months for 4.0 |
interestingly enough, if you look online, O2 customers can request to have their iPhones unlocked by providing customer information and phone ID information. Then, when they put in another carrier's SIM and sync in iTunes, it is unlocked, legally. |
