can you elaborate more please?

my gf just got new 3g(came with 3.1.3...)
i jailbroke it right outta the box(redsn0w 0.9.4)
few questions
compare to my 3GS it's very noticeably slow
when "search"ing in cydia, it take few seconds to enter each charactor cuz of lag/freeze
wifi drops like every 5min, my 3gs is connected to same router, never drops.

are these normal problems or is it because I JBed it?

p.s. how is 3g comes with 3.1.3? is apple still manufacturing 3G?
I asumed it would have old firmware since 3.1.3 came out couple of months ago

3GS has a faster cpu/graphics processor. But the jailbreaking might add to that as well.

hmm my mom's iphone is under warranty til july 30th 2010. there seems something wrong with the battery. 5hr of standby eats up 50% of the battery. think apple will replace it for me?

The jb part isn't that difficult. It's the unlocking part everyone is looking for, including myself.

So, my 32GB 3GS is on 3.0.2, and i updated to the new Installous 3.1 today....now Installous doesn't work! It starts up, Installous main screen flashes up and then disappears. I've rebooted after installation, uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled, but nothing seems to work...

**ugh** don't want to go to 3.1.3 as I need the unlock

BTW, I JB'ed my wife's 3GS with Spirit yesterday and it was simple and easy!! (It's factory unlocked so I don't have to worry about that!!)

you should see if you could upgrade to 3.1.2 firmware. Its available online for download - just google it.
