Those are Cydia selections. Just go with user. You don't need any of the other options. Spirit is just one button, "Jailbreak".


Has anyone had issues with installed apps from Installous? I would download an app and install it from Installous. When I open the app, it would open then crash. This has happened to 3 apps that I have been trying to update (soundhound, flight track pro, and bejeweled). I've tired doing a compete restore and jailbreak to no avail. Help please.

I've been able to install 99% of the apps but for some reason when I install Tetris, nothing shows up after it tells me it's been installed..weird lol

Some apps are not cracked properly so it crash when you try to open it.

I need some good iphone games where you can play online.

I tired apps by different crackers and it works, or i had to go to a lower version. Wish there was a way to mark bad cracks.

apps are sometimes dependent on your firmware so that's something else to consider

i was trying to move contacts from iphone to computer so I did a sync and iphone synced up with empty contact folder on the computer :confused:, all my contacts on my phone are gone..
are they forever lost? will I get it back from restoring?

fking hate iphone/itune, fking garbege

If your using a mac you might have your contacts saved in the address book.

If I'm syncing contacts on my phone with empty folder in my computer, I would asume that contacts would copy over to empty folder, not empty folder copying over to the phone and wipe out whatever is on the phone....

It is just you.. Just restore the phone, then when its all done loading etc, it should ask you if you want to restore from a previous back up, select a date from a week back or something. Done and done. Can't bitch about the program or the phone if you don't know what you're doing.

can someone help me with this. i used to be able to connect to my home wi-fi network with the password and everything and just recently i wouldn't be able to get a wi-fi connection anymore, it says i've joined but there's no wifi icon anymore? anyone know what could be the problem? i've already tried reseting my network settings and the router and it still doesn't work

Do you think the new iPhone 4G will be able to use the new 4G networks (whenever they are done)? Or there will be upgrades that will allow it? I'm pretty new to the 4G network thing so my question might be stupid to ask.

4G means 4th Gen.

1G - iPhone black/silver back
2G - 3G iPhone
3G - 3GS iPhone
4G - 4G iPhone

I know the 4G in iPhone 4G means it's the 4th generation of the iPhone. But I meant 4G wireless.

Atodac, I doubt it... Btw iTunes is great if you take the time to learn it and let it do what it does best. When syncing with win or mac it will merge contacts and calendar, you must have checked the "replace contacts on this iPhone" button.

Picard, does android on iPhone work 100%? can you make calls, surf, txt, etc? I have a couple 1st gen iPhones kicking around and might try it.

you put in the wrong password. the phone will not tell you its wrong. it connects then disconnects you. some kinda bug.

My iphone wont turn on anymore :( RIP or hopefully it's just the battery.

Have you tried doing a reset? my phone does this every now and then. Hold down power button and home button for a few second, the phone should reboot itself.

i tried that, i think it might have to do something with my router since my brother can't connect with his blackberry either when we used to be able to connect no problem

Okay, yesterday I finally caved in and updated my 2g's firmware to 3.1.3 from 2.2.1 and in the previous firmware you were able to change the server ip or whatever for the APN to disable any accidental usage for Edge/data. Apparently they removed that option for 3.0+ (fucking stupid) and I've already used bossprefs and sbsettings to disable edge and data, yet it still shows some data usage. Today when I came home, I checked whether it still said N/A for data ip, but nope it showed the actual ip for data on sbsettings and then I got a text from rogers saying I am trying to access the internet but need to pay first. I don't fucking understand what's going on?

Aside from calling rogers to tell them to block any data, is there anything I can do with my phone to stop this from happening any further?
