^itunes can do it. assuming you purchased the track through the itunes store, and don;t mind paying to make it a ringtone. otherwise, i have no idea.

I am trying to use winpwn 2.0.0.4 and after i install it and hit run
i get the application failed to initialized properly msg

Hi guys, I came across this error last week. I was running 1.1.4 fw on my unlocked 2g iPhone using iLiberty.

I tried syncing some iPhone wallpapers from my PC to my iPhone and noticed that it wouldn't sync. Whenever I tried to sync my photos to my iPhone it would keep saying "Syncing iPhone..." I'd let it do it's thing but after 10 minutes it still did the same thing.

I thought there was something wrong with my PC so I did a reboot but I still got the same problem.

I thought there was something corrupt with my iPhone so I decided to run WinPwn and load the 2.0.1 fw following the tutorial on iClarified. Everything went smoothly but I still can't sync photos to my iPhone. I keep getting the same error and the sync goes on forever.

Can somebody help me? I've tried searching for a solution on Google and hackintosh but nothing came up http://hackint0sh.org/forum/images/smilies/frown.gif

i'm not sure how accurate this is, but it seems like some people out there were able to get iphones from rogers/fido without contracts... better yet it was a 16GB for $250+tax... ofcourse this is not a walk in and ask thing... it must be some sort of hook ups in some way... so anyone out there with a iphone3G from rogers/fido but didnt sign contracts?

Woot just got my iphone today. My shipment date was Aug 22nd but got it today so you guys who ordered should receive it soon. Im still waiting for my InvisibleShield though. I also JB my IPhone already, what are some good apps for MMS and Video capturing? Also how can I sync with googlecalendar?

nuevasync.com can do exchange syncing for free with gcal. other than that... you'll have to import your .ics into outlook or something.

is nuevasync.com? Im skeptical giving my google information to 3rd party. Never know if they will search my stuff or send my info somewhere else

Well it does the request access thing on Google's page and only ticks off the calendar, so I guess they would only have access to your calendar entries anyways. If you have a lot of personal information in there then I would just suggest installing Outlook.

so my iphone screen won't display properly tonight...i just had a black screen. it was low on battery so i figured it just shut down.

so i kept charging it and still no screen. i decided to call myself and the phone screen would turn on for a bit and it would blank out again...

anyways i tried calling myself again long enough to just reboot my phone when the screen came on.

its back to normal again now...

has this happened to any of you guys?

I created a custom ringtone following the steps in iClarified. It's showing up in my itunes folder but not showing up on my iphone. When I go to Ringtones there is no 'Custom' list. There isn't even a sub section for Standard as in the picture, just a list of all the original ringtones.

Showing up in the ringtones folder in iTunes, under your phone?
Or in your library?

Oh nevermind, it's showing up now. I don't know why, I guess I just needed to restart my computer and iPhone but the Custom category is there on my phone now. Thanks :)

i tried winpwn on 2 pcs and both failed to run, XP pro on both. used my Vista laptop and it ran fine.

so now that my itunes is pwned,

RE: blank screen: my co-workerr had this issue today, i updated his firmware, hope that works. i'll report back. stangely enough mine did it too today......

anybody with invisible shield on the 3g can comment on the textile of it? The 3g is much easier to hold than the first one an I'm using the lrg first gen case for the 3g and it's already a tight fit. Will the shield make the phone stickier?

I winpwned and it went smooth. I did have a problem but that was because I clicked on the Youtube Fix by accident. Anyways, I have Cydia and Installer, but I don't use any of the apps. What are some good apps?

I also have the 3g InvisibleShield. It makes the phone more sticky and I feel more safe against scratches. I fucked up the install on the back and i have many airbubbles and imperfections though :(

Simplifymedia is the shittt. its free for now downlaod before it becomes pay only. it stream your library to your phone. work flawlessly on 3g and you don't need to mess with router setting or anything like that.

any free program recommendation?

the neatest apps ive tried are Remote which lets you play your iTunes Library on your PC by using your iPhone as a wifi remote control. very usefull for parties.

Midomi is a cool app that helps you find the name of a song by either you: typing in some lyrics, singing some lyrics, via artist name etc. not 100% accurate, but a good start.

oh yeah the light saber app is cool too. useless, but cool
