i've never had the problem, because i dont hold phones that close. i have pretty sensitive ears, so i hold the handset about an inch from my ear/face every time.

i'd say just use the chamois that came with the iphone.

umm no my fingers arent that greesy... it's just facial oils that gets onto the screen... and when u just wipe it with a cloth it'll smudge... so whats a good way to remove the oil before applying the shield...

^ use a damp paper towel, and then use a cloth for glasses to wipe the screen.

1. wipe with moist towel
2. dry it with dry towel
3. leave it bathroom while you shower
4. moisture from the steam helps keep dust off screen + helps with application
5. apply
6. let dry
7. profit

well lol maybe i'm just being parnoid... but all my previous screen protectors are applied on the spot at the phone store before anything gets onto the screen... but now waititng for the invisible shield, i've been using the iphone already... and with facial oil on the screen, it makes me think that if oil not cleaned up properly, the IS will peel off in the long term...

i had a best skin ever and after half a year the corners started to peel cause i did a bad job on the corners. i ended up ripping it off and it takes a lot of pulling before the damn thing comes off

my phone on 2.0.2 firmware lags when texting and sometimes under general use, and sometimes while browsing will just cut out and send u back to the home screen. anyone else experience this?

I think every one does. Apple kinda failed pretty bad with the whole "great 2.0" firmware dealio

Are they here for spying on us or helping us? I want to get an iPhone with my current plan (no changes at all) but Fido refuse to extend the credit that I'm getting monthly now.

^^ only person u could talk to bout fido is scheng924. he's the fido rep here..i'm rogers so can't help ya lol keep calling customer service or retentions...if your on city fido plan i doubt u'll be helped. if anything buy an iphone from ppl that already got it...theres some ppl thats sellin their 3gs for a great price...i might be sellin my fido 3g soon =p

Im on CityFido, I was able to keep my $10 retention credit. I renewed my contract early June to get the $10 retention for 2 years and then I called in around July 29th and asked for an iPhone. I had to go through 5 different CSR to be able to get the iPhone with my $10 retention credit.

Some say yes, some say no. In the end, they are all retarded.

^ LOL... I'm not on CityFido. I talked to 4 CSR so far and only 1 said ok to extend my credit on iPhone and she put a note on my account. I called fido again today and talked with another guy, he said no to me. I'm sick of this...

How much is the maximum credit that Fido can give monthly? I wonder how my friend can get 1000 daytime mins, unlimited weekend and weeknight plus caller id for $20???
