oh yea also, apple is recalling the power adaptors on all iphone 3g/touch

^ whats wrong with their power adapters?

apparently the north american 2 metal prong style adapter, when you try and pull it out of the socket, the metal prongs can break off and stay inside... and i guess people's been dumb enough to pull out the prongs by hand and get shocked...

if i get the iphone is the data plan necessary, or can i go on a basic plan and only surf the web with the wifi. would it cost money to surf with wifi and only basic plan?

data plan is not required when u purchase an iphone... u can just walk into any store (rogers) or call up customer service (both rogers and fido) and ask to get an iphone... also u cannot be charged for wifi... just make sure ur on wifi...

does the iphone support chinese? like i want the language of the phone to be in chinese is that possible?

I tthink it's the USB dongle that shares ur pc's connection with the da. This elimanate the need for a router. I'm sure it will work with some tweaking. After all da use regular wifi too

yes but at the price of $5XXX HKD for 8GB and $6XXX HKD for 16GB... roughly $7XX and $8XX CND... no contract, and i think unlocked too...

most phones are in that price range.... not a big deal
