Been reading this thread from roughly the start, but I don't remember this ever being mentioned.
Does the iphone have a native caller ID? If I don't have to pay for it, why should I? lol

Every month I keep going over my $2500 txt msgs so I have to try and trim down my plan so I can get the 10,000 txting package :P


Called up fido and after an hour of arguing, This is what I ended up with. My $18 value pack was deleted and I now have 10,000 txt msgs, regular voice mail, and call/name display all on top of my incoming call plan. I'm sitting at like $76 a month. It's pretty fucking ridiculous IMHO.

If there are any Fido CSR's reading this, feel free to try and help me out.

i got tired of my phone crashing and freezing with cydia etc. restored it, actually paid for the one game that I like on the iphone, and enjoy the phone a lot more now :o

i've loaded so much shit onto my 3g in the last couple days that my Phone has stopped working lol

not the actuall iphone, but the dialer phone app, fuck..

i guess i'm going to just download a shit load of apps, figure out which ones i want to keep, then restore my phone and JB it again

anyone had this problem? the "CALL" button in the middle under the keys is green on mine, and it wont even let me press the buttons, it just opens, thinks for a second, then closes itself

I HAVE HAD THAT VERY SAME PROBLEM!!!! I use the iPhone 2g though.
I find I have that application fail when I open an app, close it, open another, close it, then open up my dialer window.
My solution... Think if I want to play a game, txt some one, or call some oen first instead of quickly jumping to everything :p

after restoring mine i dont know if i'm going to JB it again right away

although I like alot of the JB apps, seeing how much better it runs non-JB i think i'll roll with this for a while

If you have a problem with your dial app, chances are the application you installed that screws it up is called KATE. It's on Installer if you have that on your phone.

hey just had a question about getting the hotmail application on the iphone to work instantly instead of being delayed an hour to update...anyone know how to change that ?

^^^ you can't. to get instant notification of email you need push. unless you have a excahnge account from work the other choice is yahoo and mobileme.

Yahoo is free but I couldn't get push to work at all. I'm on a mobileme trial and so far it pushes the mail very consistently I would get notified of email within a minute.

At the bottom of itunes, you can pick which country you want to go to. If you really want to make a US account, when you signed up for it, just pick redeem code and put in some random numbers and letters there. The account will be made but it will says the code is invalid. Then you can change the cc info to NONE.
