How hard it is to Tether my laptop with the iphone? anyone have a guide or give me the info on it? what app i need etc.? |
Here but your iPhone needs to be jailbroken. Otherwise, I don't believe that it's supported natively. (at least not until the next firmware where it's rumored to be available. |
^ nice thanks |
I just joined your guys's group. I'm really liking this thing so far. Question for ya'll: What program have you guys been using to convert video? |

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT update to 2.2 through iTunes if you want to have your iPhone software unlock in the future. Wait for pwnage tool to do so. |

Never in my life will I ever touch such an abomination ever again. But I did appreciate the fact you took time out of your day to help someone else, I really do. :D |
i bet u someone is going to update to 2.2 by accident lol |
I'm updating to 2.2 as I type this, will this effect the phone if I want to jailbreak it in the future? |
Any one who is using the iphone in the Victoria area.... Are you experiencing missed calls and txts? I am rarely missing calls with never having my phone ring, but a few people I know are missing roughly 40% of their calls! Are ANY one having these issues?? |
zero missed calls or texts. mind you i've only had the phone a week. |
firmware 2.2 is a MUST for iphone users....the phone is so much quicker/snapier and less prone to crashes. |
Any jail break for 2.2 yet? |
^ yes it's out. i wiped out my iphone and restored it with a fresh jailbreaked 2.2 firmware without any backup since i think my old firmware is all screwed up from me playing arnd with it. and people, you CAN update to 2.2 and JB and STILL RETAIN future unlockability IF YOU USE PWANAGETOOL to jailbreak the firmware. quickpwn and winpwn cannot do this, but pwanagetool can. go and read idev's blog, it mentions which pwn to use weather u want to retain future unlockability or not. |
quickpwn and pwnagetool for 2.2 are both out. i dont recommend quickpwn though, its not as thorough as the pwnagetool and i have a few small problems with it in the past. i own 2x 1st gen iphones and 2x 3g iphones and have been hacking these puppies and all of my friends iphones from firmware 1.02. firmware 2.2 runs great jailbroken and the 1st gen iphones can still be unlocked, actually the baseband hasnt changed since firmware 1.14. with 2.2 on my 1st gen iphones i have omitted cydia and installer (using pwnagetool) because i find the more shit you install from these programs the slower your iphone runs. with 2.2 on my 3g iphones i am not jailbraking to keep them running fast. |

no....if you actually used it, you'd find that it is faster and more stable, regardless of apps being loaded or not. |
I resigned the contract last friday and my iphone is home waiting for me. It took 4 days only to get o me. sorry for the newbie question. the firmware on iphone must be 2.0 or 2.1. should I use iTune to update to 2.2 or does the pwnagetool jailbreak and update at the same time? If I update by itune to 2.2, can I still jailbreak it? |
so is it possible to upgrade to 2.2, JB and retain all my data? i'm jailbroken at 2.1 currently |
does it cost money to use shazam? edit: when trying to identify a song? |
