$17.50 epp Plan - 200 daytime minutes, free nights and weekends after 6pm $30 Iphone essentials plan - 500mb data, 10,000 text messages, caller id, visual voicemail thats what I have  |
I'll be getting my iphone in a month (on a non-iphone plan). I have a couple of questions about adding data on Fido: Are there any package deals where I can combine data with other options to save money? For instance, I currently have call display, call forwarding, voicemail and I pay separately for texts. Does Fido still offer a plan like the poster above (500mb data, 10,000 text messages, caller id, visual voicemail) where I can combine those options? I've poked around on their site but only see the 500 mb option for either $25 or $30. |
Iphone http://www.rogers.com/web/content/wi..._data_packages http://www.rogers.com/web/content/wi...iphone_adpacks hope the links help |
if your going to pay like 15-20 for 500mb u might as well try to get the guy to get the 6gb data plan for $30 rogers/fido plans are all fuckin jokes the way they structure them, the features u want/would use are either not available, or are only packaged in higher priced deals ie. i dont want this bullshit "visual voicemail" i phoned in and said all i want is like a tonne of txt msg's and caller ID, they tell me there is nothing cheaper then the iphone communication package which is $15 and includes like 3 things i dont even want/use |
The Rogers links only go to the home page. In any case I'm with Fido. $15-20 for 500mb? Fido's pointless 2 MB plan starts at $15 and the 500 MB plan is $25. These also don't bundle any other options. Anything more specific to Fido? |
for my iphone i have -150 free text messages -200 weekday minutes -free evenings/weekends after 6pm -free incoming calls -caller ID -voicemail -500 MB data for $45 |
anybody else playing the iMob games on iphone? we shoudl start a rs mob my friend code 110757647 |

^just like city fido now people are going to cry about not getting 6 gigs for 30 bucks. I like my plan city fido 40 voicemail, caller id, 1000 or 2500 txt msgs (can't remember) 15 6 gb data 30 85 plus tax no saf, 911, etc. I remember back in the days I used to have 3-400 bills from telus for just bullshit calling. I would probably be paying 1000+ if I was still with telus! fido does package shit together but they offer it so cheap that its worth it. For example I use visual voicemail all the time. I hate going through different messages to find important ones. This way I see who the person that left the message is and can delete it without even hearing what they have to say. the only thing I hate about fido is no blackberrys! |
^ you having city fido and costing you 85 + tax makes me feel better lol my plan is 300 weekday minutes +50 bonus minutes each month 500 overtime minutes per year Unlimited Incoming My5 $15 iphone caller package $30 6gig data my plan has finally leveled out and is consistantly 90-$92 i'm fairly pleased |

mine seems to work perfect, even opening the little drop down user menu's etc. ? |
^ I just like having a cleaner layout, making it easier to navigate rather then having to zoom in every page. I think we also need an RS icon so we could add it to our homescreen :D |
how much data do you guys actually use? I'm always in places where there's wifi so the only time I'm actually using my data is when I'm out to look for directions or to check craigslist, ebay, hotmail but those barely use any data. I've only used about 30 mb this month. I'm happy just paying over $60 for my plan :) |
anyone here have an app called mafia live? if so add me up at 724-044-783 |
ive been using like 1.5 gigs of data a month since i've had mine, although i rarely watch youtube videos, mainly just surfing and email |
