Fantastic new program for iPhone in Canada is Canpages..you can download it from the appstore. Voice activated searches are so much better than typing on the stupid keyboard..especially when driving.

Wait, so the new OS is like a 3.0 firmware available to update in iTunes? So I'm guessing the dev team will work on a jailbreak for it? Or Apple make the new firmware/OS un-jailbreakable/unable to unlock? Well I guess we will know soon

The most popular one is Shazam, and it works off of a large database of music. However, an app I like a little more is called Midomi, as it has additional search features like "say the song name or artist" and "hum or sing the song". The only downside is Midomi recognizes slightly fewer songs.

I added a Data Plan to my iPhone 3G tonight, got them to activate it when I called in, it's been 3 hours now, yet the 3G logo doesn't show up on my phone to allow me to use data.

Any ideas why?

No I didn't ask them to activate it for the next billing cycle.

anyone notice that almost like half the loading of web pages is loading up stuff behind the scenes?

on pages that are all text and dont have a bunch of pictures i usually cancel the loading and the whole page is loaded anyways
