Does the iphone on rogers let you use your own mp3 ringtones or do they block you from doing it?

This is false. Roger's does NOT block you to put your own ringtones on your iPhone, Apple does. But there is a way around it WITHOUT jailbreaking your phone:

-enable 'ringtone', it's under preference->general->ringtone
-right click the music/ringtone file (in itune) and choose convert it to AAC.
-rename the output extension from m4a to m4r
-then drag the file into the ringtone tab
-sync it with your iphone

ahh interesting, yeah I meant apple not rogers but I didnt know that you didnt have to jailbreak. Learned something new :thumbsup:

Mine stopped syncing the ringtones.. so I just use Ifunbox and drag the m4r files into the ringtone folder.

No updates.. no workaround for 2.2.1 baseband from what I've heard. I'm glad mine is still 2.2 as well as the new one I just got from rogers

are there any iphone apps for "tuning up" your phone? mine has been acting flaky lately as in freezing or a viseo playing and i am unable to cancel it etc. is a firmware flash the only way? im still running 2.0

does it take better quality video or just better interface?
