Anyone else having problems with tryin to fast forward a YouTube clip but only to have it hang on you? |
Does anyone noticed that 3.0 software drain the battery faster? |
I did at first so I turned off "notification" and it helped a bit. But I also have Ultrasn0w installed and I don't need it so I got rid of that and it helped alot more. I'm pretty sure my battery life is better or maybe it's just in my mind :high: |
how is JB'ed 3.0? |

Yeah I've noticed my battery drain really fast. Went to sleep with battery at 100% woke up 8 hours later to 80%. But it could've been something I installed. Gonna try turning off notifications but I don't see how that would really affect battery life. Changing your push settings will help too. |

quick question, the screen protector doesn't smudge right? im not worried about my iphones screen scratching, im just annoyed with all the smudging. |
windshield facts aside i do not like screen protectors. to actually scratch the screen on your iphone you have to be pretty careless with it, i do take care of mine but i do not baby it, it gets bumped around he and there but never gets scratches on the screen, i just do let metal get that close. if i had a another phone with a crappy plastic screen then yes i would use a screen protector. on the iphone they really arent needed if you are just a bit careful and they dont really look good. yes they will still leave finger smudges, your finger grease still has to go somewhere, a screen protector is not going to help with that. |
I bought that Invisible shield, and it was a BITCH to put the back part on, and its not perfect but the front one was really good so i was happy with it, until today when i took it out of my pocket and noticed the invisble shield has some sort of tear/scuffed thing like WTF you pay 40$ for it and its apparently "military grade". this is bs |

regular screen protector just protects. Some like the SGP color enhance will actually make the color pop out more. It is true the iphone screen is very tough, however sands and grit will like hairline scratches. IMO any screen protector is better than no protector but if you are anal about the feel of the glass screen clarity etc go for brand name one. It feel better than naked screen. Screen protectors aint that expensive, now replacing the screen when it gets fill with tiny hairline scratches is $$$$$ |
^ ^ ^ true dat, i love the "naked" feel of iphone screen, that and the clarity are reason enough for me to stay "naked". i hear you about costly repairs to replace a scratched iphone screen but by the time mine needs replacing i will have moved onto a newer phone... maybe the new 2010 iphone or the 2011 iphone... apple will keep releasing them and we will keep buying them! what do you mean that screen protectors dont smudge? if you have greasy fingers or grease from the side of your face on your iphone then what happens when you touch your iphone? greasy smudges all over the screen!!! |
i got mine used, so the screen was already scratched. So I left mine naked and greasy. And naked and greasy is how I like it. Oh baby. |
So after 3.0 came out I added Fido's $15 value pack which included 2500 SMS, 1000 MMS, etc. I've tried sending MMS on my iPhone but they won't send. Does anyone know what I have to do to get them working? D: |

i just reread my post and it is fill with typo and errors lol. What I meant is anti glare screen protector and only anti glare will keep you iphone smudge free. No fingerprints and very minimal amount of grease that is easily to wipe down than naked screen. However you will give up on a bit of clarity and will make the screen feel different. |

you shouldnt need data while in canada, this is from fido's site... How much it costs Receive— Picture and video messages received while in Canada are FREE. Send— Each message sent to a Canadian and/or U.S wireless customer or an e-mail address costs 50¢. Data transmission charges apply to picture and video messages sent and received while roaming outside of Canada. Save by adding a picture and video message option: 100 picture and video messages for $5 per month. |
my friend said that that she didnt have a data plan and was with fido and she couldnt send and mms, after she added the data plan she was able to |
I have a data plan and my 3GS's MMS isnt working right now either, although it was like a week ago... |
