damn, this game isn't looking too good. Sloppy PP and let in a SH goal. At least Schneider is doing pretty good.

wow that PP was incredibly bad, let's hope they have a good talk in the the locker room for the 3rd period
I find it kind of amusing how Wellwood is pretty good defensively, lots of pokes and stealing the puck by standing there
Schneider is amazing so far in the game, especially for a kid who's only having his first NHL game. Looks almost like a veteran already

I was impressed with Pett,Raymond and kesler. Good to see some speed on the ice. I hope wellwood gains some confidence as well after scoring during the shootout.(which was pretty nice as well)
As for the oilers, I think they will be a deadly team this year if their goalie plays up to par. They have speed, shot, etc.
One last thing, I haven't followed any rumors but did don taylor just say that the rumor is matthieu scheineder* might be a canuck?

wow, that shootout was pretty good.
I still don't know how Krog's shot went in... lol
Not often do you see a goalie have absolutely no reaction at all to a penalty shot.

lol just as they were saying how oilers should put in Souray so he could do a shot during the shootouts, Krog does his amazingly fast shot.

Wow good game, the Krog goal was nuts such a fast shot we rewound it like 5 times, good to see wellwood get that goal, and the gagne was very very nice, lol @ don taylor "Thats special"
Schneider looked great he's very technically sound plays almost a luongo style. Edmonton looked pretty good as well and Souray really stood out to me, he's great at getting the puck on net, the only downside would seem to be edmontons grit and size perhaps down the line..
entertaining game though!

Great game and I was very impressed with Cory, thankfully we never traded him. The Oilers looked pretty good and a team which could be on top of the NW.

the oilers picked up their slack last year, just that they got good too late into the season to make the playoffs
the oilers will give alot of teams second guessing with their young speedy lineup
