But if Canucks keep losing, only one guy the organization can get rid of, and that's AV.
And seriously, Wellwood's not that bad.

Leclaire was the gamebreaker tonight.
I thought Bieksa played especially good in the 3rd period holding the line and jumping up into the play.
Bernier needs to learn how to roof it. Many of his chances have been saved because he fails to lift the puck.
Wellwood contributed tonight, and has hopefully earned himself an opportunity to play another game. Once again, his conditioning may suck, but his puck skill and vision are among the best on our team.

imo AV getting canned will be based more on the performance of the PP and PK then actually winning games
his seat will be getting hotter and hotter if they continue to strugle on special teams

We lost because we gave up 2 goals quick. That's all, the rest of our game is fine.
IMO Luongo should actually step up and take responsibility. Although some of his goals were a result of defensive breakdowns. But IMO, what should define one as an elite goaltender, is the ability to step up on those breakdowns, as opposed to goalie's dependence on their defense not making a mistake.
I'm also quite tired of the excuses people have for Luongo and his mediocrity. Last year was his wife's pregnancy, this year it seems people give him a pass as he saying he's just a slow starter. I wish this guy can just admit he sucks, take off that veil of elite goaltender, and start working on his game as if he was a Junior trying to earn a spot again. The guy's got in in him. It's just when will we see it again, and will it show up more often than not?
Excuses have start stopping, and so do the free passes. Or else the only time we'll see his good games are when the stars above are lining up and everything is going his way.

Two seasons ago when the Canucks had the best PK in the league it was the Sedins heading it.

What I don't like is that they can't adjust or change the dynamics of their game once the opposing defense shuts down the area in front of the net and ties up our guys in front. They still throw it out there even though there's no recepient of the pass and just wish someone lucks out.

is it just me or sedins need to change their style. | Well, you can't really change Sedin's style. That's how they have always played. The cycle game and not much physical hitting/checking. They battle decently along the boards, and they make crazy good passes. But sometimes I question their ability on deciding when to shoot or pass. I mean, I know I'm nowhere even close to being as good as either Sedins or anyone on the team for that matter, so I'm not saying I'm better than them before anyone starts critcizing me. But really, I do wish they would just go in sometimes, especially when they are on a counterattack rush, instead of holding up once they past the blue line to wait for reinforcement, just go and challenge the defender on the foot race and shoot. Luongo has been playing piss poor for a superstar goaltender. I do believe these excuses are pretty lame, although you have to remember it's really the media's excuses, not his own. I'm sure Luongo knows it himself, that he has to step it up. I just hope he picks it up soon. He had some nice saves in the third period. I'm sure he will bounce back, but as a Canuck fan, and as the team is on a slump, I'm getting impatient and can't wait until Luongo starts playing how he normally does.

It was a decent game. LeClaire was definitely the difference. Luongo did well in the third, but LeClaire was even better. Their luck will change and pucks will start to go in.

And I'm thinking, Montreal was interested in Sundin too...
So imagine Sundin ends up here by Christmas and we trade him straight across for Gaborik...
