CALGARY - They could have taken a more cautious and calculated approach to giving Cory Schneider his first NHL regular-season start for the Vancouver Canucks.
They could have waited until Monday in Columbus, instead of thrusting the highly touted goaltender into the glare of the Hockey Night In Canada spotlight on Saturday night.
Then again, why wait?

my seats were like 30 feet from schnieder at the CAN vs USA during WJC. he's got amazing poise for such a young guy at the time. its just a matter of time now b4 he gets a starting NHL job

who's in charge of the PP on the coaching staff? he should be fired. seriously. they aren't gonna go far in the playoffs with such crappy PP. I find wellwoods faceoff tactic pretty neat. i'm gonna have to remember to try that at my next hockey game.lol

raymond's speed is good, but i think hes going so fast hes losing control of the puck constantly

schneider is looking really really good so far -- reminds me alot of how auld looked in his 1st game against dallas a few years ago.

the 'goalie graveyard' name sure doesn't look like it applies these days!
