5-3-2 in the past 10 games. definitely not good, but isn't really that bad. 3rd in the conference and still 1st in the division. its just a rough bump, relax people. it might be a good thing the next team is the wings. they seem to like to stick it to the wings this season and wasn't it the win on that first long road trip in detroit that sparked the november run? just looking at the standings, and wow, sharks are crazy so far. 20-3-1!!

Wild are losing vs the Avs which is some good news. Hopefully the Flamers lose their next game.

Former Canuck Pit Martin (sp?) passed away today in a snowmobiling accident today. He played for the Canucks in the 1979-80 I believe.

The news mentioned with Sanford slightly hurting with back spasms, and Lu still out with that groin injury, only Schnider is Canuck property. The other two goalies in Manitoba is not Canuck property. Not sure who they will call up to back up Schnider if Sanford is too hurt to dress against Detroit.

hhaha, anyone get Levesque's reaction on youtube? I don't remember seeing it.

Damn, shut up about the bandwagon posts. When the team is losing, expect to hear critcism. What's wrong with that? Hardly jumping off the bandwagon. What do you expect the fans to say? "Good job for playing like shit" ?

Was 32 shots not good enough of an effort? We had the lead and could have won it if our goalie didn't lose his balance...

I hope they just keep playing schnider to give him experience and will allow him to work on his game even more when lui and sand comes back.

Never mind Cory slipping and letting in that goal. If Sedin would have barried that break away with about 11 mins left in the 3rd the game would have been dones. I saw keep playing Cory, he is supposively your future/trade bait/insurance and he excelled last year in Manitoba and this year so far. He has been tearing it up in the minors. It's about time to see if he can make the jump to the NHL and now is the perfect time to find out. If Lu wasn't injured honestly I'm not sure if we would ever find out. Play him and if he rocks then you can think about him as your future for real, his trade value just went up, or you can have an insurance knowing that if Lu falls again you know Cory can do the job.

The announcers on 1040 were giving one of the sedins shit for wanting to make "fancy" plays and passing up on wide open shots. The sedins need to shoot more when they have the chance.

Is AV juggling the lines again? I noticed Pyatt was playing with the Sedins again.

Yea it was in no particular order from LW - RW

Sedin - Sedin - Pyatt
Demitra - Welwood - Bernier
Hansen - Kesler - Burrows
Brown - Jaffrey - Raymond (this line i'm un sure of but I believe it was these 3)

this has been the talk for the past 2 years now. Big guy, surprisingly decent shot when he decides to use it, but he's too slow and doesn't use his size. Basically he isn't using his assets and when your not doing that then your pretty much useless. Imagine Hordichuck not fighting or Ryan Johnson not blocking shots. You must use your assets!

you guys say that its due to schnider slipping or that sedin didn't bury it on the breakaway

what about the fact that AV should have put another center out for the faceoff in our zone? why not have 2 centers just in case one gets waved out, which is what happened. i think AV should have known better to put out sedins with demitra or wellwood to win the faceoff in our zone.

i'm not saying those other 2 aren't a factor in them tying up the game, but it might have been different if we won the faceoff

Good Point. That goal was a direct result of losing the face off since Hank got waived off for Pyatt.

I still don't get how the referree can just wave a player off the face off circle. I mean, the refs seems to do a fake drop, see which players bites, then waves him off the face off circle.
