Apparently he taped the 80-inch stick himself.

Priceless.
Did anyone watch Don Taylor on Sportsnet when he was calling Demitra's goal on Sportsnet Connected?
"I haven't seen that move" and I'm thinking neither has Kipper.

Anyone else hear AV call out Wellwood on team1040 after the game? Basically he said Kipper made a nice save, but it wasn't too hard when Wellwood shot it 2 miles per hour.
Also gave praise to Kesler for making his line work and that his linemates (Demitra and Sundin) weren't doing much.

ok back to AV hate. Pretty hard words about Wellwood. I dont think you can't fault Wellwood on that play. Quote:
“Kyle got what he deserves,” Vigneault said. “I mean, he is not bearing down and had an open net. He’s shooting the puck two miles an hour. Obviously it looked like the goalie made a big save, but the player didn’t have a great attempt there.”

Wow. AV is riding him too hard. There's ways to ride a player to get him to respond, but I think AV is taking Wellwoods confidence away. I'd be surprised if Wellwood signs with us again. Quote:

Yea for some reason Wellwood has been AV's whipping boy straight from the start. I just don't he likes him very much. He criticizes him but has nothing to say about Pyatt? Bernier?? jeesus!

Yeah, he really dislikes Wellwood for some odd reason. I think Wellwood has been playing pretty decent in the last few games and has had a pretty decent season overall. And I really don't how he can blame him tonight for not scoring because it's not his fault that Kipper made the save of the year (according to TSN).

Yeah it was rough. Even Blake Price was shocked. Great save by Kipper, what can you do.
Wellwood seems to get the short end of the stick when it comes to tolerance with his play. Might have something to do with only being able to judge him by his scoring since he doesn't hit, kill penalties, etc...

hmm
kinda...effortless first two frames...and then picked up the slack in the 3rd..
Salo was hurt, so his lackluster play explains it
Kesler was for sure, no1 2nite
flames, didnt finish the job, capitalized on burrow's mistake in teh 2nd to tie it up!
