Kovalchuk's a good impact player but without knowing how he will do playing in the west, and he's pretty much unproven in playoff since he only has 4 games experience, hard to say if he will fit in with Canucks.
Why are you guys even talking about Ovechkin. Washington would rather trade the entire team before letting him go. And considering Ovechkin's attitude, he'll enjoy playing hockey whether if Washington tanks to last place or becomes the best team in the league. So he's not gonna demand a trade anytime soon. Quote:

Emery made the smart decision to go to Russia for the season. No team was interested in him and he gets paid and gets to stay in shape. Hopefully a team will pick him up the following season.
