It's Vancouver
Panic after ever lost!
But everyone must agree that game was pretty badly played once it was 2-2.
Salo lost was major.
Jim Hudson said with Salo in the lineup the Nucks are +19W without him they are under 500.
Salo better get fixed SOON

Meh. I'm not too worried. Time to regroup and play the next game solid.
I also want to point out how even though Salo constantly gets injured, he's pretty much the go-to guy for our defense. But hey, didn't some one post that if it wasn't for his slapshot that he wouldn't be in the NHL? |

I was fucking furious after the loss today...
They give up a 3 goal lead 1st game, now give up a 2 goal lead... what really pissed me off was the 3rd goal short handed.
Canucks better win next game, because if not Chicago then has a chance to make the series 3-1 in game 4 if they won.
We can't win them all but we need to play a strong full 60 minutes....

it's funny in the beginning of this series most people think it's a cake walk for the Canucks to win because of the Hawks inexperience, young and small.. but after two games it doesn't look like the canuck would have a chance if they continue to play like this. What's funnier is people think the canucks can actually take on the wings too... lol

Yeah, people need to relax... do you really expect them to go 16-0 in the playoffs? You can start to panic if the Canucks come back to Vancouver down 3-1.

if u guys read or watch the calgary series u know what im talking about | +1
Give them an inch and they'll take it. I don't know how realistic it is to expect to be able to sit back on 1 or 2 goal leads against this team. Big difference between them and the inept Blues offense/PP from Games 1 - 3.
OTOH hopefully they also make lots more of those mistakes like giving up a 4 on 1 in the final minute LOL. I think this series comes down to how well Khabibulin plays and whether the Canucks can find a way to neutralize the Hawks firepower - not totally, just slow them down enough to give us a chance to win.

I don't think anyone's panicking. It's more of an outcry of piss poor effort in holding leads.
Sure, it's just one game. We don't expect Canucks to win them all. The only problem is that all Canucks did was boost the Hawks's confidence like nuts now...
that's two games in a row Canucks fuked up. They were lucky to win the first one. Had it gone into OT, they may have lost it.
Canucks better find a way to slow the Hawks down, because it seems they can just light it up any time they want now. I wouldn't even mind AV "wasting" a timeout just to slow the game down.
When the Hawks start pressuring, you can clearly see it. And the next thing you know, they score 3 goals.

It's all over, they have no chance against the Hawks or the winner of the Wings/Ducks they might as well just quit now.......
If they win this series of course they have a chance against the winner of the ducks/wings. The sky is not falling yet.

We are bound to lose @ least one sooner or later. Re-group and take @ least one game away. Then it's up for grabs.

Most people are calling this one to go to six games, so that means you have to expect two losses. No panic!

| Naslund reported to be retiring Quote:
The New York Post is reporting that forward Markus Naslund has told the New York Rangers that he will retire from the National Hockey League at the age of 35.
The former Vancouver Canucks captain signed a two-year, $8 million contract as a free agent with the Rangers last summer, and he still has one year remaining on the deal, worth $3 million.
The Post is citing an unconfirmed report that Naslund notified Rangers general manager Glen Sather of his decision at an exit interview on Thursday. The Rangers have not commented on the newspaper report.
"He was a player with great offensive instincts and he knew where the back of the net was," said former Rangers head coach Tom Renney, who coached Naslund in New York during the first part of this season. "He might have had his best moments in Vancouver playing with Todd Bertuzzi and Brendan Morrison but he certainly added to a very dry offence in New York."
In 15 NHL seasons - 11 with the Canucks - Naslund compiled 395 goals and 869 points in 1,117 games. He was drafted in the first round, 16th overall, by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. His most productive season was 2002-03, when he scored 48 goals and tallied 104 points for Vancouver. He scored 40 or more goals three times.
The long-time Vancouver captain departed the team after the 2007-08 season as the club's franchise leader in goals (346), points (756), power play goals (114), and game-winning goals (49).
Naslund's scored 46 points during his only campaign in New York, which represented the fifth consecutive season of declining point production for the native of Ornskoldsvik, Sweden.
New York would have had an opportunity to buy out Naslund in June, at a total cost of $3 million in cap hits over the next two seasons. Instead, with Naslund's apparent departure, the Rangers will save $4 million in salary cap space immediately for the 2009-10 season.

Everyone around him was threatening him and calling him names. Even the three chicks beside me were threatening to beat him up. Eventually that guy was escorted out by the security and police.

The canucks have always played well against the wings, hell we almost beat them in a playoff series if it wasnt for cloutiers goal he let in from center ice. And nobody thought this series was going to be a cake walk everyone was saying it was gonna be 6 or 7 games in my books thats not a cake walk. all the nucks need to do is find a bit of consistency throughout the game because when we are "playing" we dominate them. the nucks will just have to regroup and come out hard in chicago.
