Well, hopefully this "interest" becomes official and teams like the Canucks and Canadiens can move on.
I don't know how New York is going to get under their salary cap requirements this late into the summer.

That would mean they'd probably have to trade Drury or Gomez to a team with a lot of cap space and a need for a forward. I wonder if there's any out there?

The Canucks aren't going anywhere for a couple of years because we have all these "fresh" kiddies who can't do anything well. Last season both defense and offense were horrible. I'm pretty sure Luongo doesn't like how things have turned out.
