What a great game. Fantastic atmosphere in the Garage...everyone was on their feet for most of the game. When Rypien scored that goal, people went totally nuts.
But the best thing I saw all game was players sticking up for their teammates. Hansen isn't much of a scrapper but damn, he went after Langkow with no fear. Phaneuf's hit wasn't dirty but he'll think twice next time he goes after one of our skill players. Great, great teamwork.

Burrows and Kesler work together well and are an awesome pair. Just like the Sedins are. And, I think just about anybody can play on those two lines. So why make one awesome line to take apart another. That didn't come out right, but you know what I mean.

wow what a game. Is Rypien a really good fighter? He's only 170lbs or something. He must be really reallyy good at fighting... I haven't seen him fight before.
Amazing that before the game started, and after the game is over, there is 4 pages of post. That's 160 posts about... This thread is gonna easily go up to like 300-400 pages. lollolol
Just some random comments:
Burrows had a great game. Wished he had the hat trick. And Luongo with the shutout was great!! I didn't like how Bertuzzi was booed though.
I actually LOL-ed when Jerome got taken down (I forgot who) with no penalty call and then he got pissed and went on a rampage to take out Kesler and some other Canucks.
I didn't like CBC's commentator, it sounded bland and monotoned and some parts weren't well commentated. And that bad commercial cut when Luongo was exchanging shots with that Flamer and then Hansen jumped in. Fists flying and then commercial cut. wtf?
All 6 of the goals today were beauties. Well maybe not Ohlund's, but him being right there at the doorstep, rushing up to the play was good on it's own. I could watch Burrow's 2nd goal over and over again. What a nice shot.
Pyatt was disappointing in the beginning again, I was already rolling my eyes when he kept losing control of the puck early on and then went to the penalty box. But that play where he went in from the outside and just powered in was nice. Gave Ohlund a wide open net. I also liked how Pyatt used his size more later in the game.
And it's good to see Henrik shooting more now instead of just looking for the perfect pass. Bernier seems pretty good. Good guy to have on the first line and will stand up for the Sedins.
Hope they keep this up.

no he won't. you guys can call him celine as much as you want, but he's a solid player. 10 out of 10 times, he will always through a big hit.

Great game. Good to see that everyone was sticking up for each other especially when Hansen went Mike Tyson on Langkow.
I disagree with the Pyatt haters, he's needed on the DRP line for sure. Big body, gives more room for Demitra and Raymond to work their magic.
Burrows was possessed. Fitting coincidence that he scored 2 goals x 14 (his #) = 28 (Bourdon's #).

damn good game and i was cheering through most of it
o'brian got a lil scrappy out there too with bertuzzi which is sweet..
and crawford made a great point that now that there are other guys on the team that can take the role of the fighter, ohlund can throw his weight around more.
i lol'd when they introduced crawford, and he was joking about LA
bieksa had a brutal fall down at the end there and coughed up the puck pretty good..

Basically the lease/agreement ended. The company that owned the rights wanted more money, CBC didn't want to pay it so CTV purchased the rights.
