Colour in 3 weeks and a 3 hour sitting and it should be done until we decide how to tie it into my sleeves.

At first I wanted just a traditional Japanese wind bars/bubble clouds background. After the outline session I decided to just let my artist run with it and do his thing. I think he wants to do a more new school background of b&g smoke. Still a long ways to go tho.

has anyone ever got a tattoo overseas? visiting vietnam and was wondering if i should take this oppertunity to get tatted. kinda iffy about a vietnam tattoo as this will b my first one.

if its your first one, go get it done in vancouver. You are not going to be able to judge the quality of the artist or even if they have done proper sterilization techniques in vietnam.

There should be a few good artists in Vietnam. Good luck finding who they are

Your best bet is to find a traveling artist who is in the same place as you at the same time. For instance I know Davee Blows is in Asia right now.. Phillippines, Singapore, and soon Hong Kong. If I wasn't getting a tattoo already next month, I would definitely be talking to him

Because I only get 1 chance a year to get tattooed by these particular artists.

I'm not really stressing about it. Because I don't think tattoos need to have some sort of deep meaning to them. Go to a good artist and talk with them and you'll always get a good piece in the end. I just posted that because I happened to be thinking about it at the time :)

anywhere that touched bone fucking sucks, aka top of ur shoulder FOR THE FUCKIN LOSE.

Worst for me was the inside of the elbow, and the narrowest part of the wrist. I barely have any ink in those spots but holy fuck they hurt

elbow,collar bone, and spine were the worst for me:(, other than that i can sit pretty long
