Dude I've lost track of all your pieces. Although the style you like is completely different from me (Japanese stuff) there are a few of yours that I find pretty cool none the less. Keep em going!

Some great ink here. I've been wanting to add to my small collection, looking at doing something that incorporates my sons' names...not sure what yet. Will keep looking for ideas

A good tattoo is not going to be cheap, no matter who you go to

Ppl never seem to understand that its not like shopping for a car , spend the extra bucks , because down the road ur not gonna worry about the money but how well it was done and has held up!, infact cheap tattoos cost more , u pay when u get it done then u pay to cover/fix them and u pay emotionally!

Oh I fully agree about it's better off spending the money on the quality that you will love the rest of your life then a lesser amount that you won't be happy with. Just a couple grand for my first ink kinda hurts but I do really like the work Carlos does and it would be worth it no questions asked.

My sis had this done in a 3hr sitting yesterday by Sam at Steveston tattoo yesterday

I can assure u it won't be couple grands for a portrait lol. Sounds like u really do like Carlos's work if so than wait it out. It u can afford to fly to LA to get it done even. Artist that are traveling usually charge more than when they are home. Did u check out the the other artist I recommended?

So it won't be that much? hmmm thats way better then I thought then, I have been following him on IG for about a year now and each piece he does impresses me more and more. The two guys you suggested do wicked work but I don't like it as much as Carlos's work of course. I think you are right I should wait until he comes up next since it sounds like he had a good time up here and I'm sure he will be back sooner then later.
