been loving this phone so far :D the qwerty is such a pleasure to use, especially when going on windows live messenger at wireless hotspot XD. the messenger application is pretty nuts, almost identical to the one i have on my computer. it even makes the little noise when someone messages me =O

hows tha phone in terms of speed? im kinda sick of the tytn ii so looking to get this as the next phone. has anyone used both e71 n tytn ii that can compare the 2

jeff19, how long is the using period for the messenger? i don't know if i should use it because it says it might either charge for data or eventually the using period is going to expire

and bapssystupr3m3, it's faster than the tytnII for sure when you use it... i was playing around with a tytnII and i found that phone to be SLOW

cspec, i dont remember getting a using period msg.. Maybe i did lol But ive been using the messenger for a week now through wifi, and i havnt been charged or anything, nor hav i gotten any msg saying my using period has expired. Im pretty sure u can use it as long as u like, and u wont get charged unless youre using edge or 3g

im really tempted to get this phone even though I have the N82... the E71 looks much more business-oriented which I kind of need to organize myself more. Plus the QWERTY keyboard, :D.

hey can someone help me out here just got e71 recently and tryning to set up the email i use gmail and i set it up with proper info and settings on gmail is set to pop3 and whenever i create the account and go into settings and try to change it from imap4 it keeps saying creat new account and ive done that many times and it still wont work help me pleaseee

okay well i downloaded the Yahoo!Go app from nokia.
i'm not sure i'm being charged for data for it, because when i end the app, it tells me how much data i've used.
and i THINK i've been using wifi for it (to check email/weather and stuff), ciz before it refreshes everytime it asks for an access point.
so is it the data that was used for wifi, or what? :/

i think all the ones we buy from stores here are like that.

hmm you shouldn't be charged data... to be safe just call rogers and tell them to block off all your data connections

yes it did i just got it to work it was wierd i had to mess around with it and dont even know how to explain it didnt have the msn loaded becasue mine is not the asian version but found exact one on internet works great. Love the phone just the m and n key drive me nuts. I cant wait tell it has push email i cant stand having to be in wi fi to send or view emails:(:( whenn will it happen
