You probably cant see the dent in my pictures, but its there! and it bothers me so much!

I haven't figured it out as I don't have the housing yet. :p Maybe try looking at how the housing is pieced together first?

Pretty easy, open the battery cover, remove the 4 screws with a T5 screw driver, and pop the 4 clips- 2 on each side. The front pops off nicely, and then the small metal part slides right off.

source on MR just confirmed that 3 new e-series will be announce this year and will be available aswell. that includes the cheaper version of E71. it might appear at symbian smartphone show or nokia world.

i have a feeling that rogers will get that instead of the E71. hmmm..

got my NAM Grey about a month ago when my N95 suddently dead.

Excellent phone. Super strong WiFi and great keypad. The only thing I missed from my
n95 is the camera.

Use Arial Unicode from your computer as the font. I did this and I have full CJK read support. Of course, no writing capability.

Also, being the red/orange fanatic that I am, I had to buy the first red rubberized hard case on the market for the E71. hahahah

The other colours are......white and black. As of now anyways. These are strictly the rubberized hard cases, not the soft silicone ones. I got it off of eBay. Bezel the same colour as the keypad? Like both dark grey? Black?

Oh, and firmware updates are free from Nokia? If you want to change it to say, Asian firmware, you'll have to do a bit of research and use NSS to change the product code then update it with Nokia. Of course, one wrong move and POOF! :p
Your dock is EPIC...ahahahahah Yeah, eBay too. It's that one with the extra battery charger in the back, but there's one that doesn't have that as well.

Yeah, I've been looking for a white housing, but it's not special any more as Nokia USA has the NAM officially in white as well now...ahhahah I want one of those crazy housings on eBay like the N95 ones, the orange, the red, the pink, hahaha those are great!

this thread just sold me on the E71.

this phone is damn sexy, but having came back to the iphone from my n95 8gb... symbian is just not as fun to use =/ the apps ain't as slick and it seems laggy (especially deleting apps) does this run the same S60 as the n95 8gb?

has nokia fix their "app store" yet?

Can I see a picture of Grey E71 in Black rubberized case? does it attract dust at all? did it make E71 much thicker in size? Did you get it from eBay or somewhere else? thanks

It's a case. Of course it's thicker now. :p That being said, it doesn't make it much thicker. The red one doesn't attract dust, but I'm not sure about the other ones. The white one I suspect won't be so white after some use though. :( Got them all off of eBay.
I'll put them all in every case later.
