^yea i fixed it but sometimes i get a simcard with a question mark icon on the screen. what does that mean? also when i turned it off and turned it on again, it says UIM outgoing is locked?? also do u know anywhere to get the screen protector for the sh906i lol |
the icon means unreconized sim card.. Just restart it and it should be fine. Mine also said that but it doesn't really do anything lol. As for screen protectors try Jp cell repair |
"UIM outgoing locked" is normal. What DJ_505 said, try restarting the phone first to get rid of the SIM with a question mark. |
i restarted it now and it usually happens again...now it doesnt recognize my sim card at all lol. i have the fido sim card. does the simhack sticks on the fido side or the side with the sim card's gold plated side? |
gold plated lol did u try the cpr(what +Kardboard+ said about putting ur sim + hack into a unlocked phone) after u put the two together for the first time? if u did .. try it again and if it still doesn't work try it with a different phone.. i found my n82 and my friends n95 didn't work with cpr |
yea im gonna try cpr it again now. will edit this post for update edit: ok i got the question mark thing gone. but if it comes back, it doesnt do anything to my calls or texts right> |
LOL if it comes back phone won't be able to call out and receive.. same with texts |
what about the uim outgoing locked thing even though i get a normal full bar? does that do anythign? |
it just shows up when u start the phone but it doesn't really do anything |
cool thanks |
Anyone got an SH-01a and would like to share their experience in terms of signal strength and reception? |
New line up for DoCoMo is coming sooooon. SH-05/06/07 P-07/08/09/10 N-06/07/08/09 F-08/09 |
they put out new phones so fast you can never keep up! lol i still have my N905i back when i bought it in september! |
hi, bought a nttDocomo sho06 off a friend it worked perfectly fine hypersimmed through fido for him but when i put my rogers sim it "service is unavailable" and restarts repeatedly help? |
^^^ is ur sim card new? a 3g hsdpa one? the hack mostlikely doesnt support ur sim, u need to switch to an older sim or buy a newer hack that supports the 3g sims i think |
gah* thought so. thanks for the quick response- |
my friend had told me that he had everything installed correctly, including the hypersim, etc...but the thing is he could just not make outgoing calls, he recieved calls just fine except that when he punched in a number and dialed it, it said ``call limit exceeded`` and he could call just fine in his normal phone... do u know what the problem could be? |
i thought this would help some people on this forum. http://www.japanphone-rental.com/index-en.htm So my dad and aunt started this business in HK and they bscly rent phones to people that go to Japan, Korea, etc (travelling, leisure, business trips). Since they always update their phone models they often get tons of older product that they wanna get rid of. So if any of you is in search of any specific models pm me and i MIGHT be able to find it for you and get my dad to ship it over or something. I personally don't know how to make those japan phones work here so you would have to figure that out yourself. Anyway, i hope this helps? |
dose anyone know where you can buy a hypersim here? i use fido i was wonder how to you tell the different in 3g hsdpa and 3g one? thank alot eh! |
So I fucking busted my hypersim because my thumb slipped taking it out of my dummy phone to give it a signal. I'm not sure if I can solder it as my thumb slipped on the chip connection, breaking it. In short, is there a place in Surrey that sells hypersims, or do I have to go to Crystal Mall for it? Thanks. |
Where do you guys recommend a newbie can pick up a Sharp 007SH? I asked my friend to keep an eye out for it in HK. Posted via RS Mobile |
