i was walking around today taking some street shots when the father came up to me and told me to wrap the camera strap around my wrist so when i drop it it doesnt hit the ground. he told me to do so because i was just holding it. (i hate carrying the camera around my neck.) super nice guy, he talked to me for a while about my 50mm and how he used to shoot pictures too. not the best pic, but its definitely my favorite picture of the day. i wish there were more people like this in today's society but sadly all im seeing everyday is just a bunch of selfish fucks.

things will just never be the same again..

^nah i think its a common thing to do with your neckstrap.. i dont know what got into me today when i didnt do it. its probably because i had the 50mm mounted so my camera is crazy light and it feels safe in my hands.. when i have my 17-70 or even worse, the 35-70 mounted, i always wrap it around my wrist because its so heavy :/

What's the point in open and honest communication if you get shut down every time and ridiculed? I find myself having to put up a facade and lie just to maintain peace. Perhaps I need to stop lying to myself and believing your words when you make me feel like I'm not allowed to have feelings or an opinion.

I seem to keep giving people the benefit of the doubt even when they don't deserve it, I don't know why. I really need to stop because some people are just straight up jerks in general.
