Maybe the stuff shes done in the past is still killing her self-esteem. She loves you for still sticking with her, but part of her still think that you can do better because she doesn't think shes the best? That you should be able to find someone who hasnt done what shes done? Just a guess :)

true, just in my situation, I had already figured out the answer, I just had to hear it.

If you just want the answer, not caring what the outcome is, phone or text is fine. (better than using the internet)

When you really care about the outcome and ready to hear the answer, then in person is the way to go.
